Game #62|Cavs vs Heat| Sat. March 7th 2009|7:30pm[ET]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mo was big today, especially in the 4th. But what makes Lebron great is his ability to do other things while having a bad shooting night.

He grabbed 3 boards in the fourth, he had 4 assists in the 4th quarter.

Most important of all, with Mo having the hot hand he let Mo control the ball and make decisions.

Isn't that what you and so many people here complain about???? Lebron trusted him and Mo came through.

Bron is alot more than just FG%, which is what makes him a special player.

Besides, alot of Mo's three pointers came from and usually come from all the attention Lebron gets.

Obviously we have to give alot of credit to Mo for making those shots because we've needed someone like that with Lebron for a while.

Just need to get a low post option and mix things up on the offensive end of the floor and I think we have the best chance to win a title.

Oh I agree entirely, I love how Lebron knows he is off and decides to get teammates involved. That is awesome and it speaks volumes about him not being selfish at all.

I'm not even bashing Lebron...it just seems no matter what, Lebron gets all the love from a lot of people.

So he had an off night scoring. Like I said. Why is that so hard to accept? BTW what was his line last night?

LeBron has set the bar so high for himself that when he has a couple of off-scoring nights in a row we are all up in arms. The point is we still won, LBJ got a triple double so he found a way to contribute in other ways. We are 13-2 on the second night of back-to-backs. We now get to rest up until Tuesday night and hopefully we can take care of business in our last trip out West. We are still in very good shape to finish this season off. LeBron will be ready to score when he needs to... I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt there. :chuckles:

It may seem that way, but it's not..

If LeBron played horrible I'd probably be the first to admit it. But he didn't, and like mentioned, 15 shots for LeBron isn't even a lot. He did other things to give his team the most he could while having an off shot.

He had a great game from my eyes, anytime somebody drops a triple double it is usually looked at as special.

Did I say he played a horrible game? I apologize and completely accept that I was wrong, if I said that. I don't know what I was thinking. Not sure I said that though.

I agree with Chiefwahoo. We won, a great win, Im not griping. It was just one comment I made and I was trying to give Mo some love!

Come on man, try to keep up.. I've been saying he had an offer night shooting, but he did other things tonight that allowed his shooting percentage be overlooked because of his triple double. Its already been accepted he had an off night shooting.. So I don't get your point.

Also, why bring up last nights game? What is that going to prove?

Are you kdding me?

Have you been here the times we lose games?

Everyone here blames Lebron for pretty much everything. Our offense is his fault, our defense is his fault, our stagnant offense is his fault (nothing the coaching staff should be held accountable for).

He gets plenty of blame, I actually think he gets way too much.

All you people here that complain about his faults and weaknesses, just imagine if he leaves. Where does that leave the Cavs???

You don't even want to imagine that.

Bron having an off shooting night and still getting a triple double is a testament to his greatness as an individual.

I love the fact that Lebron trusted Mo at the end and he came through. This is huge for the Cavs because it is something we have needed.

So what did i told you about keeping our heads up and we'll win

You didn't say he played horrible.. But you said he didn't play great tonight, which I disbelieve.

Its not me overrating LeBron or giving him to much credit, but anytime he goes out there and brings in a triple double, even on a off night shooting is very impressive in my eyes. Mo gets his love, he went out and was on fire from the get go and he was the biggest reasons why we manged to maintain the lead throughout the night and win the game, so Mo is for sure getting his credit.

Your post is somewhat flawed for one reason:

We won.

Who is going to blame Lebron for anything after a win? I mean, Im saying he didnt have a great game and even then, I'm not...complaining about his performance. Just pointing it out. We won, so no reason for anyone to complain.

here, try to think...close your eyes and think: if we'd have lost tonight...do you think people would exempt Lebron of blame because he had such a great Trip Dub?

Last night LBJ had a ton of haters on this site. So to say nomatter what everyone loves him is not true.

Meh, not worth it, I dont want morale lowered after a good win. I was just making a comment and didnt think people would take offense. Carry on, carry on. :)

Both guys were great.

Mo with his amazing shooting percentage and coming through at the end when Lebron was having an off night. Isn't that what Mo was brought here to do? Be that second guy and today was just another game in which he proved that.

Lebron was great in the other things he did. He may have not scored alot in the fourth but he did account for quite alot of our points by picking up 4 assists in the quarter.

Delonte made the right plays as well, playing good defense and keeping the ball moving. It seems to me that Delonte gets alot of "hockey assists". He's always the guy who is making that second pass which is a great thing to have.

Good effort by our guys tonight.

Very disappointed though in Z's defensive abilities against other bigs.

Beasley freakin scored over him as if he was nothing. J'Oneal constantly torches Z.

He's 7'3 and yet can't defend for shit.
