This is exactly why people talk about the scent of cow poop when they discuss playing in Sacramento.

The Worst Thing to Happen to California Children since Pedophilia

This guy just cut hundreds of millions of dollars from the state budget for public school teachers in the past five years, leaving many young people who live in public housing, immigrant families, or unemployed situations in an educational system that resembles two sticks being rubbed together. All the while, wealthy families have schools with funding like nuclear bombs. I'm well-respected in the world of education, so my job is safe... but imagine if your kid was enrolled in a school where half of the teachers were suddenly fired. Wouldn't you like to know why it happened? It's because the governor spent over two billion on bi-annual balloting. Why vote twice a year if it will cost several millions of dollars and the money will never be made up? Why take out loans in order to put your state in a debt only a mentally retarded college student tricked into getting a Discover card would possibly understand?

Anyway...

This team is more interested in draft position than winning. Don't sweat this easy win.

we need to blow this team out and let LeBron rest the entire 2nd half

I hope this is a boring game.

Last time I said this, it was the Clippers game.

:runs:

Im not sure if i can stay up for another one. I have to work Saturday too!

CAVS vs. Queens = another road win, after that back in the Q!

I hope this one isn't close, they are starting two young bigs so we should be okay upfront and that whole line up all together is nothing special but we will see how this one goes...

Delonte is starting?

I agree they care more about draft position, but tanking teams are typically playing hard and trying to win against the premier teams of the league(so the cavs would fall under this one).

I don't want to see the cavs play down their opponent. Should be a win.

LeBron might not play.
The only way James figures to have an off-night is if he doesn't play, which became a real possibility Thursday night. With 1:56 remaining in the third quarter, and the Cavs leading 86-83, he collided with Grant Hill on a drive to the basket, then fell to the court, clutching his left knee/shin. He stayed in the game, however, and in his postgame TNT interview with Craig Sager, said he planned to ice the leg, receive treatment, and see how he felt Friday before determining his availability against the Kings.

Perhaps that was the Sacramento reporter being optimistic about LBJ not playing by reporting the TNT interview. I'll take Windy's word on it:

• LeBron said he experienced a "stinger" down his leg in the third quarter when he nailed knees and shins with Grant Hill and Louis Amundson. He also took a shot in the right thigh from Shaquille O'Neal in the fourth quarter and he's shaking off a mild ankle sprain from Tuesday in L.A. He got his normal full-body ice down after the game and said he was sore but expected to play Friday. He's taking a heavy minute load over the last couple games, though, and the Cavs will probably try to get him some extra rest.
