Game 65: Phoenix Suns (33-20) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (39-25) | March 7th, 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's his idea of a tribute to Akron's area code, 330. Fred makes me miss Reghi pretty regularly...
Ah come on theyre both good. Fred is a Cleveland guy and I support that. I do miss Flight #23 however.

I just note that we made only 9 (!) points in the last quarter. OMG. The Suns made 27. People complaining about why Blatt giving so many minutes to our starters. I mean, man, we could actually even lose this game if the bench have been playing more minutes.

I know. They should play the whole damn game if they have to. We are not the Spurs. We have not won championships. If their starters are in, so should ours.

Something needs to be done about the way the back end of the bench plays together. You've got Iman Shumpert trying to iso, Perkins trying to post up, nobody getting the ball to JR in open spots...

It's just not cutting it. There is zero excuse for them letting the Suns get back in it to the extent they needed to put an exhausted LeBron, Love and Kyrie back in.

If I'm Blatt, I'm dedicating a lot of time at practice to Delly, JR, Iman, Perkins and Tristan figuring out how to play together without a star on the floor. What they need is one guy out there that can get to the basket and none of those guys can. So ball movement becomes crucial and they're not doing it.

This one should have been over with 6 minutes left in the 3rd, but oh well, was good to get a win after yesterday. I thought Kyrie was injured or something after he didnt play at all in the 2nd, but I guess Delly just had it going on or something.

Mozgov absolutely dominated and the Suns were WAY undersized without Len. They had essentially no answer to Mozgov in the paint and no rim protection, basically allowing a ton of points in the paint. They started some dude named Earl Barron at center and it felt like varsity playing JV. They were lucky with shots early but the long contested 2s stopped paying off and they spent the 2nd and 3rd quarters down 30 or so.

Then the 4th happens and Perkins is in there, and I figure he could continue to do what Mozgov was doing somewhat, but basically he was a negative out there. Their bench scores something like 15 straight points and the starters, who thought they were getting hte rest of the night off, have to come back in, and they still look like crap. Interestingly, Mozgov, who was the reason we had such a huge lead, was the only guy Blatt didnt put back in...

Still waiting on a blanket explanation on Mozgov beyond the usual small-ball explanation considering that is the opposite of what you want to do with the Suns.

Wow, to only score 9 points in the 4th and still win is a feat in of itself. I knew the Suns didn't have a shot tonight after the Atlanta game but I am just a tad disappointed the starts had to get some burn down the stretch. I really wanted them all to rest after the 3rd, much like the recent Boston game.

I know these aren't the Phoenix Suns of the past, but they still like to run the floor as much as possible and Cleveland gave up 0 points in the Suns' fastbreak. Wow. Completely took a team out of their style of play.

Reminds me of the Clippers game. Beating the living sh*t out of them for 3 quarters looking like the best team in the world and our bench gets the sh*t kicked out of him letting the margin going way way down.

On a good note, even after conceiving 27 points in the forth, they still only scored 79 in the entire game. Hell of a defense. If out starters have kept on playing thet would score like... 65 or somethin'

I think by being ass with "Mozgov not playing" question - Blatt is trying to steal some pressure from the players.
Look at Mourinho coach in soccer - he is taking the media hatred, so players can rest.
