Game #65 -|- Wizards @ Cavaliers, Weds, 25 April 2012, 7:00PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Raps fans have opened a Cavs vs Wiz game thread! And they are pretty furious about our 2nd quarter lineup.. "Cavs with an all nba scrub line up" and "Byron scott can go **** himself". :chuckles:

I can't be quite as hard on Wall as you, he seems to be a competitor, he's an awesome athlete, and he has some skills. I obviously prefer Kyrie without question, but Wall was put into a terrible situation and nothing has improved. I think the guy has his place, but he needs a dominant scorer next to him badly so that his teams don't struggle in the half-court, (like Westbrook has Durant). He can't shoot, but at least he's not Tyreke Evans.

In all fairness, I have never been a Wall fan. So I am definitely harder on him than most young players. I just don't like his style of play. And he really needs to work on his finishing around the rim in the half-court. It's atrocious..

As far as I'm concerned, it's a miracle that a team as bad as the Wizards, this late in the season, is neck-and-neck with any opponent on the road. I know they've won road games recently, but this looked like a sure Wizards loss for the past couple weeks, especially when we saw how bad they were on their home floor.

We'll see how Byron manages the second-half minutes. Will he play the starters for long? Will he sit some of them? I think that Parker, Jamison, and Irving deserve extremely early departures to great ovations from the crowd. :chuckles:

Link to that thread, please.

From the linked thread...

The NBA should fine them for that. I remember in the days of Showtime the league fined the Lakers for benching their starters in the final game of the season.....different reason (they were resting for the playoffs), but same result...not even as bad, actually.

:chuckles:

For all the people mad that we drafted Thompson, be glad we didn't have to settle for Jan Vesely. What a piece of trash. Good God...

I have an exam to study for but I can't resist such an epic battle of the tanks. This is so crucial and kind of comical to watch.

wtf is wall doing on fast breaks, good god...

edit: finally he makes a layup

As an aside, I think Kevin Seraphin is going to be a nice player. I remember wanting him when he was drafted, but I think he got taken before we got to the podium.

Great tank job so far. Keep it up Cavs!

A masterful performance by the Cavs tonight. Songs will be sang about this night for many years to come.
