We have talent, and when they play together and move the ball we can beat anybody. Our problem... We play down to our weaker opponents and sometimes don't show the passion/hustle we need against lower teams.

We're 12-15 vs the West...better than Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, New York. 14-25 vs what people are saying is a historically bad Eastern Conference. Must be our guys like playing faster tempo teams than the slow, grind it out teams in the East.

This is absolutely it, or part of it. It's why, when we play OKC and the Clippers and the Warriors, I say "we match-up well with them." Conversely, we match-up terribly with Charlotte, Indiana, and Chicago. When you make these guys play half-court, they have no clue what they're doing and the offense just looks putrid.

Defense won this game. We spotted them 16 in the first quarter, but the four and six minute stretches where they cant score, thats the gem...

Consider that when they were playing barnes and green, we have no match up to answer. Our defender at the two is giving up four inches any road. and they still got it done. Coupled with the ball movement and passing, we are playing the best basketball of our season right now.

its more of the physical play. When the Cavs run and bump against west coast teams they look aggresive, physicial and fast. When they play the east coast teams they bump and everyone bumps back. / its a tougher game for them because they have a harder time getting their flow going.

once the cavs commit to tough physical play possesion in and possession out they will start making some headway in their half court game.
