Love has a really flat shot. That comes with the territory of being a two motion shooter though. He is good at leaning his shoulders back, but the ball still comes out at a very flat trajectory. He is shooting the ball more out instead of upwards. You just aren't going to hit at a great clip from that distance with a flat shot.
James Jones and R Jeff both get plenty of air under the rock because they are shooting the ball upwards + out. R jeff has that side catapult thing going for him like bird while Jones I think is more ideal because he tends to be more in line with the basket with the ball going up through his right eye while he turns mid air.
R jeff is going to miss more to the side as a result, but at least you don't have to worry about the touch as it will get there nice and soft.
So yeah, I think love needs to tweak his release so it has more upward trajectory to give him more of a margin of error.
