Game 74 | Cavs (47-26) @ Nets (30-40) | March 27, 2015 | 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hope you're being sarcastic, he had the best +/- on the whole team.

+/- doesn't change him being lost on defense, not being able to catch the ball, and missing point blank shots. The players on our squad who were out there with him hitting shots doesn't mean he was playing well.

I feel like I'm the only one who noticed he was out of sorts tonight. Obviously I would have loved for him to play more against Lopez, be he wasn't playing well.

Blatt is a genius sometimes. I'm serious. But this Mozgov this is fuckin pissing me off. Blatt must have forgot how bad our interior defense was before Moz got here. I get it - go small in certain situations is beneficial. But not when the opposing team has a 7 foot plus dude scoring 30+ points a game recently. Moz needed to be in there. He had a +8 in his limited minutes tonight. Dumb ass Blatt.

We could have really used Moz to keep them from posting. Johnson did this more with Moz out

He didn't look lost at all, what we did look was undersized and we had no interior defense without him.

I watched the game, he looked lost on switches and pick-and-rolls all game long. But people will only focus on him 1-on-1 with Lopez instead of looking at him within the teams defense.

Can't wait for all the Blatt haters to come crawling out though.
We lose a game and it's pandemonium. Like we're expected to go 82-0 for the season.
Not a hater but until he can properly decide when to go small in the 4th and when not to, then I'll always be critical. We are not the Heat. We can play any game. Match their 7 footer with your own. It's simple

Stats say he wasn't a bad influence on the team, he was a positive one. Thompson had a +/- of -11 and was getting abused by Lopez, no excuse not to play him at all in the 4th.

I love this forum after a loss...everyone knows more about coaching an NBA team than Blatt; everyone knows what players can and can't do; everyone is focussed on the bigger picture...chaps, time to chill. It was one game, Blatt is experimenting...we are in the playoffs...I am guessing that he probably has a very good reason why Moz played 17 minutes, why he let Love foul out...why he made most of his moves...relax, we are in good, smart hands

Agree, why is this even an argument? Mozgov might not have been perfect but you can't teach size.

Look man, +/- doesn't mean he was doing everything well. I saw what I saw, and what I saw when Mozgov was in was more pick-and rolls and action that caused the Cavs to rotate, leading to Timo being out of position. When Tristan was in, they attacked him down low. Either way, with either of them in, our defense was terrible. Timo and Tristan both contributed to that.

Except with Mozgov, you have the hope of matching up with Lopez even if Moz hasn't been playing well.. you don't have that with TT or KL at center.
