Told you we will win this.

This was a HORRIBLE of fensive effort, but IMO a very good defensive one. We kept the Knicks to 84 points.
Nobody could hit anything tonight and LeBron bailed us. But we did get open looks and did run good offense, that we just couldn't convert (Delly, Love, RJ, JJ missing wide open threes, TT failing to dunk, etc).

So I don't see any reason to worry really.

That was a classic we win because we have LeBron game. That's not good enough to win a title.

My concern right now has zip to do with wins and losses. Beating a bad Knicks team means little. It has everything to do with the fact that our real competition isn't in the East, it's in the West. And we weren't good enough to beat them last year (in before the excuses) and as of right now, we aren't good enough to beat them this year.

Kyrie's 40%+ shooting and elite ability to get to the hoop will probably have a huge instant impact.

I'm talking about everybody else too. The Cavaliers have missed some wide open shots. We gotta start hitting.

Cool to see LeBron ball and all.

But I still saw the same bad habits as last year.

Guys standing around. LeBron playing ISO ball. Kevin Love looking confused and uninvolved.

Works against bad teams. However, we have to stop doing that.

It's ugly, but with our starting backcourt out we just gotta try to stay above water and scrap out wins where we can.

I feel like the Cavs are playing under this whole "we have a switch" mentality. Same thing the LeBron-lead Miami teams did.

Obviously it doesn't make much sense especially with Kyrie and Shump out, but it seems to be the case in a lot of games so far.

So under my theory... relax, we win this game

Knicks still have a long way to go. That was about as bad as we could play.

Derek Fisher is so bad. When your star player is getting locked up, find a way to get him open. Run a screen, a pick and roll....anything. And how about not switch everything on D so that our rookie 7-3 guy or Langston Galloway aren't guarding LeBron.

KLove might be one of the weakest mental players on the team. As soon as things start going badly for him it just gets and stays worse.

Quickly becoming one of my least favorite Cavs players ever.

Guy is and has been getting one of the biggest free passes in the history of Cleveland sports.

To say he hasn't lived up to the hype is the biggest understatement of all time.

Golden State can score 200 a game all season for all I care. The Cave are playing playoff basketball already Zeroing in on that perfect formula. And in the finals this year, GS will not have it as easy defensively if we can keep Kyrie and Kevin healthy. We will control the pace again and this time we will be able to make up for those few mino runs GS will have every game. I love how the Cave have started the season. 8-1 with no KI, no Shump, and countless other issues none else dealt with and they want to ignore is because were in the east. Bunker mentality,boys. We goin to da ship.
