It would be nice if we had a player to challenge shots at the rim. Varejao is great, but it's always been his one area of weakness. If that's Tyson Chandler, that shot gets blocked.

He's still getting stuck sometimes on picks but I've seen him go under and over effectively several times this game AND when he gets beat by the pick he's trying to recover (like the surprise block he had). Let's hope this lasts the entire game and the entire season!

Tristan is just a little too predictable. It's not really a fair comparison but look at Kyrie. I never know what he is gonna do with the ball, but watching TT, I find myself not suprised at all when he does something. I see it coming from a mile away. Dion has just good energy on the court. He looks comfortable even when he isn't playing his best.

If the sky represents underneath the basket then he is at sea level. However, I would like to see this kid improve and I think, eventually, he'll get it.

No one wants to see Omri Casspi shoot the ball but if Dion is passing up driving to the basket or passes to open teammates for contested 3s then there is a problem. Maybe those 3s are more likely to go down than whatever Casspi does with the ball but bad habits are going to last longer than Casspi will on the team.

Varejao is MIA so far. Hoping to see him a lot more in the second half of the game.

I didn't think the defense was that bad. Thought Dallas might quite a few tough shots that you'll live with. Vince Carter stand still 3 and a running jumper off one leg? You live with that. OJ mayo will EVENTUALLY cool off sometime this season.

Casspi's problem is he tries do what he does in the euroleagues, but he is just too slow to do it the NBA. Everyone sees him plodding around and making telegraphed passes. If he would just pick his spots and shoot when guys draw the defense in, he would be much more serviceable. He isn't talented enough to do everything he tries to do.
