Cooper is pretty terrible

Have to imagine with Merrill, Porter and others they'll finally kick him to the curb.

Phantom call at the end, but overall happy with most facets of the game. Lots of fun for a preseason game.

I do love how Bates always considers himself open. Reminds me of old-school World B Free and Vinnie Johnson, but tall enough to be able to get his shot off at any time.

It’s a trait that’s terrible to have as a #1 guy in college running “point” but it’s absolutely a breath of fresh air on the Cavs. He shoots it with confidence and no hesitation.

I @‘d you in the original post as well but I am not/was not not knocking Dean with the nickname(which is a positive nickname btw) or the description of that final play.

was he ever fast. He can rebound all day like old man Love still could. They just no where they need to be to get the board. And he could still set picks
Again, I am not saying anything near major mins. His value will be in practice with Mobley, Allen

TT was never fast per se, but he was quick. He got by being able to be a quick leaper, outworking people, and being super active. That was his entire game. I have no problem with him being a mentor. All I'm saying is I'm hoping the Cavs didn't bring him in thinking he was going to be a minor rotation player getting semi-regular minutes, even if it's a small amount.

Love was never any of those things. He didn't rely on quickness or athleticism to get boards. He's always been excellent at getting into position and rooting guys out on the block.
