Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No send Cedi, LaVert, Okoro, Windler and a couple of second rounders to them for DeRosen
Totally realistic! I like how you spelled DeRozan wrong, too.

We have THIRD worst bench squad in the league(third,Karl) with over 60 million dollars in salary combined!Thats the worst bench in NBA in terms of price/productivity. For just barely over 20 pts/per game for the bench we could get players that will cost us at least half cheaper with no problem, but thats not Altman’s best side, assuming he was missing math classes in the school regularly.

LOL. Kobe Altman got us Jarrett Allen for basically nothing, not to mention the Mitchell trade. He helped us grab Dean Wade out of thin air. He also went to UMass, Amherst. Math classes?! :chuckle:

Garland and Mitchell are scoring in spite of this dogshit offense we have. Each guy should be feasting off ball. We should be getting them open spot up threes. Cuts through the lane. Coming off screens. Misdirection.

They’re scoring HARD points. Which is good only because it shows they CAN and we will need them to to ascend to the heights we are looking to ascend to.

But over 82 games and even during the playoffs you need to score easy Fucking baskets.

Movement and flow has gone out the window as JBBs rotation has tightened up. The only dude who can get a spot up three designed for him off any kind of action is Kevin Love.
total agree. Would uptempo offense more conducive to this team ? we have 5 athletes. would like to see changes of pace continuously thru out the game

Nah man we can just trade out 15 playersfor 1 guy. That simple.

Dont worry about roster limits. Not important.

DeRozan only has this year and next year left on his deal and he's been playing the best ball of his life the last season+.

Bulls could actually get something legitimately good for him, I'd think.

Altman send 3 picks and Exum for Allen who was just slightly over 10 pts /game center. So that was not “nothing” at all and he paid exactly what Allen was worth at the moment. For Mitchell ,we send 5 picks and 3 guys, including Lauri, who is not that far from Mitchell production + our top picks in form of Agbaji and Sexton. And its also the same manager who let James leaving us for nothing ,gave up Irving for just one pick and number of useless injury-prone players, same guy who selected Okoro, and the same guy who offered Love an atrocious contract no one else in their right mind would offer and brought bunch of incompetent coaches during these 5 years.Did I forget something?

Wasn’t meaning for it to be realistic! I was being facetious! As for misspelling his name I didn’t this was a “spelling bee”

I hope he would do them all over again. Each move led to the construction of the current team.

The only iffy move was the Okoro pick, but that draft sucked.

The Cavs traded like the 28th pick and the lesser of a 2024 Utah or Cleveland 2nd rounder and Exum who is nothing more than a contact for Allen and Taurean Prince who he flipped for Rubio

Loves contract hasn’t hurt us at all since he signed it now he’s a valuable 6th man.

You missed him drafting Garland 5th who’s a bonafide star guard despite playing 5 games in college.

Coaches? Ty Lue turned into Beilein who was Dans guy and then Bickerstaff who is a great rebuilding coach…even if I don’t think he’s the long term answer for competing.

We sent 3 picks for Mitchell, not 5.

Let James leave us for nothing? What did you expect him to do exactly? Trade prime LeBron James who was taking us to the finals every year?

Even the Kyrie trade, Boston got even less than we did and it turns out Kyrie is an unreliable joke.

Maybe we should have tried harder to get Middleton and Brogdon and a pick but we were one Dinwiddie prayer away from landing Luka Doncic. LeBron was leaving regardless. Middleton and Brogdon weren’t enough to compete with the Durant Warriors. I’m ultimately happier we got what we did because being a treadmill team With mediocre 33 win talent for those years…maybe we don’t have Garland and Mobley right now.

Anyone who can put together a full rebuild like this within 5 years is a talented GM. Doesn’t mean he’s infallible but even the best GMs miss lottery picks especially in bad drafts which the Okoro draft was. But Garland at 5 which was not a consensus pick at all…lots of Culver fans that year…is a grand slam of epic proportions. Mobley was a given, but then again the Rockets missed the given for another chucker guard who doesn’t defend.

Mitchell has proven how good and how valuable he is already. Markannen is the loss that hurts the most mainly because we could use him at the 3 something fierce. But I’d still rather have Mitchell and I do expect Lauri and the Jazz to come back to earth at some point. They’ll have a really tough 10 game stretch and it’ll snowball.

He also got LeVert for a guy who was out for the year. Then when the year was over he signed Rubio back.

The one blunder was Okoro, but looking at the next five guys drafted that year none of them would be starting for us, either. The next three picks (Okongwu, Hayes, Toppin) are not starting.

The #9 pick, Avdija, is starting for Washington and averaging 6.9 ppg on 39% from the field. The 10th pick, Jalen Smith, is starting at PF for Indy and averaging 11 points and 8 rebounds. The 11th and 12th picks (Vassell and Haliburton) are the doing the best from the group we had to choose from, but it's hard to criticize someone for not taking players that went #11 and #12 at the #5 spot.

I actually wanted Vassell or Halliburton before Okoro! I truly believe they were the better picks at 5 than Okoro!

Well, then the solution is clear. Dan Gilbert needs to immediately fire Koby Altmann and replace him with Ohioplayer00!
