Game Thread | Game #23 | Magic @ Cavs | Dec. 2, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not as convincing a win as I expected but I'll take it. Mobley, Mitchell, and Love were superb. Everybody else was just OK.

Cole Anthony single-handedly kept them in the game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Banchero had 22 points but was a team high -16. The Cavs did a nice job on Bol, holding him to 3 points and a -13.

I liked Diakite's defense as he did a nice job of staying between his man and the bucket without fouling. Love had a couple more charges and owned the defensive glass. He was a +16.

The Magic ranks 28th in turnovers per play and they coughed up 17 of them tonight which really helped. The refs were calling the traveling very tight.

It was nice to catch them with their two best centers and a couple of starting guards out. Mo Wagner came in having played in only four games and he got a start.

Boston, Milwaukee, Toronto, and Philly all lost. We pick up a game on everybody.

Lamar Stevens went 3-10 and took more shots than Love, LeVert. Osman, and Okoro and played at least 5 minutes less than each guy. Not good.

KLove is just a brute on the floor, bullying Magic players all over the paint. He might not get very high off the floor, not the most athletic. But he's strong and he knows how to use it when his feet are on the floor.
That’s why he’s been such a great rebounder over the years! He knows how to use his body to fend off people!

I root for the Buckeyes but after the Michigan debacle, I just don’t think they’re deserving to get into CFB playoffs.
I have to agree; it was such a walloping. Like I mentioned earlier, if they were playing this week, then that might help wash that bad taste away

Careful you’ll be admonished for posting in the “wrong thread”..lol; except that his rules don’t apply to him…lol
If USC loses tonight, who deserves the 4th spot? I'd like to get rich's take on that. Rich?

Dealing with shoulder pain for “some time”? That seems strange considering he missed a few weeks with a knee injury, so the shoulder problem must have occurred after his return
Since the Bucks game when Giannis pulled him towards himself on a block to block screen and then threw him down out of bounds. He got up holding his shoulder. Second foul on Dean and a horrible call. Right when the shooting slump started.
