Game Thread | Game #76 | Rockets @ Cavs | March 26, 2023 | 6:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Where do you get this stuff from? Lol. LeBron never planned to buy the Cavs. He wants to be part of the ownership group for a team in Vegas.
And even he wanted to own a piece of the Cavs Gilbert’s ego (as much as I love Dan) would never allow him to sell his team to any group that included LBJ. He’d sell his team to North Korea first :)

I think I got this right.

After 57 games this year, we had the same record as last year: 35-22.

After that, next 19, last year we went 7-12. This year 13-6.

Several factors, but what do you say has been the biggest difference maker:

Allen healthy for most games? Donovan Mitchell? Evan Mobley's growth?

All of the above.I’m glad this team didn’t fold that’s for sure

LeBron must be pissed. He was sure after he left the Cavs would be awful and he could march in after buying them from Gilbert cheap be savior again.
LeBron could never use his own money.

All that plus Caris and Okoro improvement, minor but important contributions from Stevens, and - sadly - benching / dumping Love.

Those 3 things + LeVert playing great + favorable schedule

Not a real impressive win but they took care of business, especially on the defensive end, holding the Rockets to 11 in the 4th quarter. When Sengun sat down Allen terrorized the Rockets. He had 24 points on just 11 shots plus 14 boards and a highlight film block and two others.

Cedi had a brutal night, going 2-for-10 and missing five wide open 3's. His inconsistency is maddening. Rubio shows no signs of getting back to the impactful player he was before his injury last year. I think we'll have to wait until next season before he makes a key contribution. He was 0-for-4 and a -11 in 16 minutes.

It was looking a little dicey until LeVert hit a huge corner 3 and followed it up with a steal and a breakaway dunk, pushing the lead out to a safe 16 points with 4:20 to play.

KPJ had a bad night going 3-for-12 and was a -19. The Cavs' starters were all between +19 and +24 except Okoro, who only played 9 minutes. With any kind of decent bench play this game is a blowout.

We lost agaisnt magic and other shitty teams lol but they fought in the play in and didn’t give in I was happy how the season ended last year hopefully we win one round and go at least to 7 games in the second one

With 33.8 seconds (give or take) left in the first quarter, the basket mic picked up the following quote after Kevin Porter Jr's shot was blocked:

"Give me that shit."
Evan Mobley

Good win.
It's official, the Cavs are back in the playoffs!!

And rightfully so!
