Well I just got this movie on "DVD" and holy shit. The supporting cast is weak but Clint Eastwood delivers an AMAZING performance. Its almost a dark comedy its so funny, but at the same time chilling. I hope you guys all check it out.

I am noticing a trend on here that movie threads don't get much attention. I have started a few and they were duds. I guess the RCF faithful are not avid movie watchers. I thought this wasn't even out in theaters yet? Was it straight to DVD?

I saw this one already... it's outstanding. There will be some horrific scnes, both due to crummy teenagers who cannot act and a few disturbing plot twists, but its a must-see in my book.

Clint plays a retired Korean War veteran and Ford plant worker... the character is a Pollack, not Dirty Harry.

the asian girl and Tow are horrible actors, especially the girl. Clint does a pretty good job.

everyone besides clint and 3 black dudes who have a 5 minute scene in the movie suck..

by DVD i was refering to the DVD screener that leaked (which is almost perfect quality) just check any torrent site and it'll be the top seeded version of gran torino. I don't know if it was meant to be but this is one hell of a dark comedy for half the movie. I think the wide release is jan 9th I might see it again for real when its released here in vegas.
