Just saw it on the espnnews bottom line that Mark Dantonio, the former Buckeye defensive corrdinator and current Cinci coach, will be taking the job.

I was absolutely living and dying with this decision.. No way could this team afford to let go of the guy who called for an awesome conservative defense against the Steelers and lost last week... Or the guy that's been at the controls of a defense who's been curb stomped and shutout by two of the rivals within a year span..

His awesome vein popping enthusiasm is enough to keep this winner around...

I'm glad that Grantham didn't get the job.. I really like the enthusiasm and energy that he brings to the games..

Yes PIP his defense has been beaten pretty bad, but what do you expect when your offense is 3 plays and out every drive?

I am glad that he isn't leaving too. One of the few in the organization that shows fire and emotion... I just hope he isn't offered like assistant coach or something else where...and if he is, romeo or whoever better step it up and match the offer cause he is a future headcoach either in the NFL(especially if we could win some damn games) or College...

With what he's had to work with this year, the defense has been pretty damn good. Our top three cornerbacks have missed nearly every game (Bodden playing in the most, but still missing a lot), McGinest has been hurt a lot, the Dline is complete shit, and we are starting two rookie linebackers.
