Hassan Whiteside

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, consider all the other teams that turned him down, then consider how much more damage he might have done to us if he'd gone to a real contender.

My fears are only slightly assuaged, though. This may be just what the Heat need in order to go from a 7th seed to a 2nd seed. Whoever dropped the ball on this one - I want his head on a platter.

Anyone feel like they just got punched in the brain?

If our failure to get Hassan Whiteside is the difference between ending a 50-year championship drought and not, I am going to be one bitter mofo. I seriously would pick up my feces and through them all around my enclosure, including at the glass separating me from the visitors.

Are people really freaking out how good Whiteside is?

He is a diamond in the rough kind of find.

They would be 1-20 without him!

Ha. Probably only a slight exaggeration. Anyway, there is obviously no way the Heat are a 2nd seed this year. They still might not even make the playoffs as Whiteside inevitably comes back to earth a bit. I see they lost tonight, by the way.

Very interesting point about how the Heat will need to plan to have cap space in 2016 in order to ensure they can retain him. Will actually be very interesting to see how they handle this.

Still! CT2 went for 11/10/5 in a losing effort! Dude is a monster!

People who think this is a fluke are kidding themselves. He's not going wake up one day and forget how to play defense and be an athletic 7 footer.

Roy Hibbert?

The Heat are, like, 7-14 with Whiteside this year. I wouldn't get too worried.

1 win and 4 losses without Wade

plus

2 more losses when Bosh was gone.

So with Bosh and Wade in there and Whiteside over 15 minutes, Miami's record is 5-4.

Heat are 16-19 overall when both Bosh and Wade play. So that means when both Bosh and Wade play and Whiteside not playing 15 minutes they are 11-15.

11-15 with Wade and Bosh in there without Whiteside playing over 15 minutes.

5-4 with Wade and Bosh and Whiteside playing over 15 minutes.

Quiet, you.

Whiteside with 20 & 17 through 3 quarters. Sheesh

Ok, I was wrong about Whiteside. I don't want to see the Heat in round 1.
