I'll shill for Sears, just cause there might be a few grownups here that are looking for Appliances or TVs.

This sunday night from 6-9PM Sears is having it's friends and family sale. All kenmore appliances will be 20% off list price that night, and there will be an additional 10% special event savings as well. So, if you're looking to outfit a house in the next few months(you don't have to take immediate delivery), this is at least worth looking into. Normally the most the sale prices get is around 15% off list, this is roughly 28%. There's a couple good deals on some frontloader sets, but they're kind of low end stuff.

Also, there are some decent deals on TV's.

37" Panasonic 1080p LCD for roughly 760 after event savings. List is 1199, best usual price is right around 1000.

42" Panasonic 1080p Plasma- roughly 855 after savings.

Sharp Blu ray player for 179.99, minus 10%. So 161ish.

There is also a special where if you put $1000 dollars or more in combined home theatre purchaces, you can save an additional 10% if you charge it on Sears Card.

Basically, say, the Panasonic Plasma and a blu ray for right around 915 plus tax.

Anyways, y'all are my friends, so I thought i'd share. Maybe you'll find something you want, maybe not.

If you were actually seriously thinking of some appliances, I would recommend going to look around a day or two beforehand, as the sale isn't really the time to shop, merely the time to buy.

I have found this site to be extremely helpful when it comes to holiday shopping.

http://www.blackfriday.info/

Basically, It accumulates all of the black friday ads, sales and rumors before the ads even hit newspapers.

Let me explain something about Sears.

Any product they sell with the craftsman/kenmore name is junk.

All TVs are marked up $200 over any other retail store.

Um, what kind of crack do you smoke? Sure, sometimes the TV's are more expensive than Best Buy, but a lot of times we have the best price. Just cause they don't carry some Sanyo garbage at Wal Mart prices doesn't mean anything. And, guess what, if the EXACT SAME MODEL is on sale at CC or BB, they'll match the price! But more often than not, the prices are much better than Best Buy or CC. If it's the exact same model. If it's something not on sale, it's at MSRP, trust me they ain't making a ton of money on this shit.

The Kenmore stuff is just re-branded LG, Electrolux, Whirlpool, Maytag, or Fridgidaire. The fridgidaire stuff is primarily garbage, but the stuff made by other brands is often near the top of Consumer Reports. So, whatever.

Can't speak for craftsman, don't work in that section, and I'm not familiar.

Man, I love Black Friday. I've gotten some serious, serious deals over the years, especially at Best Buy.
