Home Opener Watch Party (will be held in Lakewood, post #87)

Its gonna be crowded even if you don't count the people from this site that will be attending, Im not a very vocal user here, as you can probably tell by my post count and join date,but I'd like to attend. We should have a seperate poll asking about attendance...a yes vote for attending and a no for no, and use the total votes as kind of a guesstimate of how many of us wanna go

We've had 2 polls so far. There were about 20 people who said they'd attend. They want a estimated number for RCF-- as I believe they will be giving us x amount of tables depending on the number of people attending.

I would just give them an estimate of your own (20-25?) for now, take another poll a week before the season opener, and then give the place a revised count. People will know more about their plans (and possible tickets) by then.

Unfortunately Winks cannot guarantee any tables will be available, as there is expected to be a huge turnout.
I spoke with the Regional Manager today. He said we are welcome, but it wouldn't be as accommodating as Winking Lizard in Lakewood. He also said that Lakewood is our best bet, because it is much larger, and the person I spoke with from there, said we would most likely be guaranteed seating.

Please let me know your thoughts. Also, the title of the thread may need to be changed if it's not going to be at Winks.

There are a lot of reasons to like Winking Lizard in Lakewood. It's huge, big TVs, ample parking in the back, free popcorn, won't be a clusterfuck when leaving, and most importantly it is close to me.

Not as epic as downtown though, I will concede that.

I've also talked to Glen who said he may be open to have a watch party at the ILTHY shop, which is also in Lakewood.

This would be more of a BYOB type deal, and there would be pizza/wings/etc.

Also, you guys would be able to buy some ILTHY shirts as well.

@Ben The home opener party will be a Winking Lizard in Lakewood.

I just spoke to the GM there. We are allowed to bring donuts. I did state that there would be some for the staff, as well.

Early birds should be there around 6:30, as they do not take reservations. If we have at least 10 people there by 6:30, we may be able to lock down 2 tables, to seat at least 20. Although sitting together isn't a big deal, I just wanted to there to be a place where we can all be in the same space to enjoy this new era!

I'm 50/50 on Winking Lizard. Waiting to hear back from a friend for Thur. Is there an estimated headcount?

Edit: Just got tickets. Going to game. Prices came down to my range.
