How about trading for Hibbert?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Again though, you guys are trying to act like Hibbert was some focal point. He was the 4th option on Indiana last year (seriously, he was 4th in FGA on that team, behind George, West, and Stephenson). Exactly the type of scenario here. The problem is the few times he's called upon to produce some offense, he's terrible at it. Which I'd be ok with if I felt he was a guy who could get up and down the court and run with this team, because this is going to be a fast paced team. But he can't do that either.

Do not want under any circumstances. As if his contract and inconsistent play wasn't enough, he's a bitch in the locker room. When things go south, he's the first to point fingers and fuck up team chemistry. Dude is a diva and his shitty attitude and psyche isn't worth the on court production he gives a team.

I will go for it. But come on line-up with Kyrie,Love,LeBron and Hibbert it's unfair.

Hibbert doesn't fit this team's offensive identity. His defensive impact, to me, isn't worth it.

Does he run the floor well? Fuck no. Love doesn't really either, but his rebounding and outlet passing still fits into the running scheme we're sure to see plenty of.

Can Hibbert shoot? Fuck no. Good thing 3 of the starters are best at driving to the basket (assuming Dion starts) and Hibbert's huge ass and his man's huge ass will be in their way.

Can Hibbert score in post up situations? Not really. Certainly not well enough to make him a top scoring option.

It's pretty much that simple.

I really want no parts of Hibbert after these last playoffs. He basically shut himself down because he wasn't being featured in the offense. He would get even fewer shots here and I can see him being a problem in the locker room.

I think Ian Mahinmi would be a better guy to target from Indiana. He'd be a perfect fourth big. Big, mobile, and a pretty good defender but Indiana really has no reason to trade his contract since he's only making $4 million for the next 2 seasons.

Hibbert definitely isn't the type of player we need on this team. We need someone like DeAndre Jordan, Ibaka or Embiid :chuckles: Guys who run the floor, get garbage buckets for the most part, but can make up for some of our players defensively. Hibbert isn't quick enough to do that.

Sums it up perfectly.. Hibbert is not the type of center we need on this team. We need an athletic big who can block shots at a high clip and get the fuck out of the way on offense.
