Yes, it’s a little weird as it had to go through bankruptcy process but Guards felt okay with what was finally agreed to, not to contest. If there was a big difference in mlb vs diamond/BS, we could have walked.

The Gs knew it was coming too, then accepting the but rate means they didn't really have a better option. It does suck for the future.

The Guards DID have a choice for the 24 season. However, by the time all the legal mumbo-jumbo was complete with Bally's it was probably a little too late to do serious negotiation with a different option.
But the streaming industry is soo fluid, I would not be surprised at all if the Guards are on a different service next season.

Either just straight MLB.tv or like Peacock/Amazon. Just make it a service that is simple to use and reliable...

I've heard that going the IPTV route might be cheaper and give you access to every channel, streaming package, movie, tv show, and sporting event youve ever and never heard of.

Almost as good as Ben's live stream of his backyard back in the day.
