9-5, too optomistic. i think more Like 8-6 or 7-7. but i don't knoW Who We Lose to. unLess Lebron has gotten Way better, then 12-2

14 games total? I can see us winning at least 10 of these games, as long as we don't chump it hard.
I don't think 9 wins is that optimistic. It seems like the more realistic option. 7-8 seems like a disappointed yet happy result.

unless our def. is good to outstanding i just don't see us going out and outscoring teams (right off the bat). too many new faces for it to go real smooth early. i predict some awful shooting pcts in the early games for the cavs. i can't even say lebron will be able to avoid that either. the more wins we get the less fantasy numbers you'll see.

hughes - we could hope for 15 a game but i see a 10 pointer and then a twenty pointer.
marshall 9 to 11 consistantly
jones - 5 to 15 / game
lebron - more tos than last year and less assists. pts about the same.

i think the transition of hughes into the offense is the key.

We'll start slow the first 5 -

so 9-5 sounds about right. We have the talent to do better than that, but they haven't played together enough yet. Had they gotten more time playing together in the preseason we beat Memphis on the road and Seattle at home.

12-2 for me, we probably will lose one of these games but I wont sell us short by picking us to get knocked off by like the Celts 6ers or Magic...so I'll just say 12-2

I like those picks CBBI ;)

I think we'll go 7-7.

With such a new group of players, I think it'll take a bit until the team gets used to playing with each other.

I'm probably a pessimist, but im preparing myself for a 6-8 start. It takes awhile for the team to build comradere, who knows whats up with our defense yet. I still think we will win 50ish games, but i bet we get out of the blocks really slow. Floor spacing is something to be watching early on, if they picked that up good, then we could be successful out of the gates.

I think we can all agree that it isn't important how you start, it is how you finish. If lose some games but gel together that is fine. I will sit through the "Looks like the Cavs are bust" stuff from other people as long as they come in solid come playoff time.

A bit slow out of the gates, but I think it will come together pretty quick. I think they will give San Antonio all they can handle on Friday night. That said, I see Saturday's game against Memphis as one of those back-to-back second nights where they can't make any shots. 11-3 may be a bit optimistic, but the schedule is favorable, and many of the games are at home.

G-MAN, your predictions look alot like you are expecting a repeat of last year - losing every game on the road. The reason we couldn't beat anybody on the road last year is because we played no defense. I see that changing under Mike Brown. I can't wait to get a look tonight. Less than 12 hours to go.
