I got some insider info on the Draft.

First of all, I am not gonna tell you guys the heads up on the draft right away because I want you guys to promise me you are not going to give me crap about being a liar or an attention whore or whatever. You guys know my feelings about this part of the board (Everything is stolen of the Orange and Browns Report), but I still feel like you guys might light to know. Think of this as some originality to this board.

Before you throw me into the fire, I will tell you where I got it, and where I will keep getting it. I have a friend who I see every week. He is what you call an "independent scout". He and 3 of his partners are scouts and they publish a scouting journal on all the "possible draftees" and they sell it only to actual NFL teams. They sell it to actually 21 NFL teams. And guess what, the Browns are one of them. And he has links to the Browns FO, so he's got info. He knows who the Browns are looking at, and who they are not. Who they like, and who they don't.

Plus, he is a real scout, so he knows who is a good player, and who has the best chance to translate well.

You want some hindesight on how good this guy is? He actually told me at last year's draft that he wanted the Saint's Colston when we drafted Wilson.

So, with that, do you want me to tell you who the Browns are heavily scouting and who they are not, and who they like at what spot (trade)?

PS-And, if you got any specific questions for him, let me know so I can ask him and I will get back to you ASAP.

And I explained before that I do not like to participate in the Browns forum on here because I believe it is a fake. But I decided to give you guys a chance.

Now you come strolling in here with your MOD status and pretend like you matter.

See people, this is exactly why I did not share my stuff right away. Its cause people like him.

And you dont need the Combine to know who is good or bad. If you got half knowledge about football you don't need the Combine's 40-yard dash and benching stats.

You think that scouting is done at the Combine only? Ahahahaha. Shows how much you know about the behind the scenes. "Team's scouts" are out there everyday watching college games in the stadiums. Not watching through the TV because you dont do that cause the camera only follows the ball and thus you miss the other players without the ball. And these team scouts report back to the teams' FO. And my friend just so happens to have connections with some Browns' scouts.

If you don't believe me, just ignore the thread. OR is that too much for your ego?

If your info is legit, i doubt anyone on here will have a problem with it, your helping better the site, nobody is going to complain about that. And as far as getting info from other sites...so what, this is a Cavs board, not "Cleveland Sports" the Browns forum is a sub-forum, info is info, wether we get it from a Browns Board, or wether we get it from ESPN, who cares where its from. We have several WONDERFUL Cavs insiders on here.

If you bring osme "orginal info" to the board, like i said, nobody is going to say "No dont do that" but if you are bluffing, or making things up...that would be idiotic.

Alright. Just a heads up, I just got a short list (14 to be exact) of the top prospects that the Browns are looking at from my friend. The only problem is that I can't read 1/3 of stuff he wrote on that piece of paper(because of horrible writing), but I will share as much info as I can with you guys. I am sure I will get more names in the future, but these were all the names he remembered off the top of his head.

B Mac, your vote DOES matter homie. I just want the Real Mods of this Browns Board's approval before I waste my time. I mean, if it is going to get dissed on, why even bother writing it?

Ok, info piece part 1:

As my friend put it "get ready to be happy with Adrian Peterson because Savage is having wet dreams about him."

Realistically (not pending undeclared players), Peterson is #1 in the Browns draft board right now. I think that this just changed though. (I will explain in my next post why it just did)
