Ideal second option for the Cavs

Who do you think is the ideal second option to have beside LBJ23 and for the Cavs at this point. Basically it doesn't have to be realistic, but who do you think would be an ideal fit for Cavaliers right now?

Personally I feel like Joe Johnson would be the guy, forget Carter, forget Redd, JJ would be perfect. A young SG would can create his own shot, create for others and also knock down jumpers. Not to mention is a solid defender, and on offense he seems to be the complete package.

Maybe Josh Smith goes to Philly, then Bibby leaves next year, possibly JJ would demand a trade or leave in 2010. Ok I'm dreaming, so let's hear other opinions.

OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay.. Rudy was compared to Pippen when he was drafted and LeBron was compared to Jordan

LeBron + Rudy... Obviously that would never happen though.

Out of all the players in the NBA, OJ Mayo would be the ideal option for Lebron??????????

If there is no specific realistic cretireia, the best second option for Lebron would be the best player in the league the last 5 years and that would be Tim Duncan. No reason they couldn't coexist extremely well

I'd pick Dwight Howard. He would look great playing off Lebron. I love watching them play pick n roll on Team USA.

I also considered Manu, Duncan, Brandon Roy, and Joe Johnson.

I think if I was taking a guard it would be Brandon Roy......just like what he brings to the table.

if I was taking a big man it would be tough not to say Dwight Howard.

i think joe johnson is the perfect second option to lebron. the funny thing also is that he will be a free agent next offseason. if we keep wally joe, damon and eric we could be the favorite to land him. thats why im thinking if we cant a true young difference maker then keep the expirings and make a huge run for jj next offseason.

Kobe Bryant or Dwyane Wade.

Reason: Both are shooting guards, which we lack at being good at. Both can score whenever they want, and one is the best offensive player in the league, as the other can make you're free throw shooting improve, which we struggle at.

But a real option? Ray Allen, Micheal Redd, Joe Johnson, Vince Carter
.. Basically any good shooting guard out there. Even though Ray Ray isn't on the market anymore...
