If we do fail on the free agent big time shooting guard, we do then need to go on a two pronged attack. If we can then look at players like Simmons, Daniels, Watson, Swift, Radmanovic, Sarunas, etc. This is our only forseeable summer with cap space. We must utilise it.

That could be how things might play out. It's far from guaranteed that we'll be able to get one of those top 4 FA SG's.
If that does happen than the Cavs probably will have to use their money on a Simmons and a Watson. They would be a help but it still leaves the Cavs without a major core group of talent to build around.

One more thing to keep in mind is that with all the cap space the Cavs have, they could also take back much more salary they they give up in a possible trade. That could open up the possibility of acquiring a player with a big contract from another team.

This is an important point as several of our player have some attractive contracts (Gooden, Jiri, Sasha, even Harris). Somebody like Paul Pierce perhaps who has a big contract and Boston may be looking to move or Al Harrington. Mere speculation but something that should be kept in the back of the mind

Out of Sarunas, Watson, and Daniels I would choose Sarunas because I think he is just the best player out of them and he will come cheaper. He is a superior passer and shooter. I would be satisfied with any of those three though.

Along with the Celtics, the Pacers and Cavaliers are expected to have interest in Jasikevicius. Cleveland, in particular, could use a guy like him. Jasikevicius has signed on with Octagon Sports to do his NBA bidding.
