We should try to get Cheapshot Horry. He would be a really good fit for our defense and he can hit that 3 ball. What that means is that we can trade Wally and keep our spread the floor lineup. That is actually a great idea. I don't know if he'd sign with us but man if he did we'd be able to ditch Wally and Horry is a great defender. Also playing in the Spurs system that is basically us without the dominating big.

Horry has nothing left in the tank.. he can't even grab a rebound anymore. In the Lakers-Spurs series it was down to just seconds, the shot was bricked and the Spurs had a chance to tie.. it was an easy rebound but it slipped through his hands, bounced off and hit his thigh.. Lakers ball. Game over. I don't like my bigs to be draggin oxygen tanks up and down the floor.

I'd look at guys like Darius Songaila, Craig Smith, Ryan Gomes, Joe Smith (the one!), Nick Collison, Channing Frye, Ike Diogu, Mikki Miller and Brad Miller... Not that all of them will be good fits, but I see those guys as realistic options...

Id love to get Joe Smith back and it could happen because last year the Thunder(Sonics then) made a deal to get Kurt Thomas in the off season and then dealt him by the trading deadline. The only thing i would hate is to give up a 1st rounder which i believe is what the Spurs gave up to get Thomas. Smiths contract is expiring too so it fits perfectly with what we are trying to do.

Why does washington do this? Jawad is a NBDL player, Sasha is expiring. Songaila is young with potential, plus they give us a pick. Trade makes less than zero sense for Washington.
