I'm so pissed at DirecTV!

Last night I had to go to my brothers B-day party, so I recorded the game. When I got home to watch it, the recording was corrupt. There is a major bug in the system that happens to me often when recording or even watching programs on stations that do not always broadcast (NFL, NBA, 660-1 FSNOHD...). If you do not stop the recording before the station goes off the air, it renders the recording corrupt. It's also happens while I am watching shows/games not in real time (ie: 15 mins behind). When the station goes off the air, the screen goes blank right in the middle of the show!

This is only 2nd game in 6 years that I have missed, I'm pissed!

I've got it recorded on my comcast dvr, if you tell me how, I wouldnt mind hooking you up

there was a few noteworthy moments, though boobie had another tough go at it last night

Atlanta had dead legs until the 2nd half when Mo Evans started shooting like Video Game James, then they cut it to 10, then they ran out of gas. The Cavs just took care of business real efficiently and shut down all driving lanes. Game was never in doubt

I've seen the FSN post game and NBA TV highlights, so I have a good feel for how it went. I was hoping FSN would reshow it today, but I don't see anything on the guide anywhere.

I'm very frustraded about this bug in the DirecTV system. I've posted in 5 threads on the DirecTV forum about it. I guess I should give them a call and bitch about it too, but it sucks what you have to go though and how long you have to wait to actually get to a human to talk to...

I agree that we have been spoiled by technology..., but if I pay $200/month for a service, I expect to get what I am paying for.

Did I say I didn't like DirecTV? No, I said I was pissed at them for not for not providing the service I am paying for and releasing software/hardware that is not living up to it's advertised features.

There's no doubt DirecTV is better than Dish or Cable, but it doesn't give then a free pass to put out defective product...
