Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Illuminati indeed. Look what Kevin Love did with Illuminati powers: He vengefully shrank Ricky Rubio and then did unsavory things to him!

what is the most striking to me in this picture, is not how Love succeeded shrinking Rubio, but how he succeeded catching him with his uniforms on, that's rare!

Rubio was also apparently shrunk with a serious case of manspreading.

That stinks. I knew he would be out a bit, but I was hoping it would be sooner.

Sounds like he's going to be out a few more weeks....a bit disappointed in that.

It gets worse. What the fuck man....they need both of them right now.

Hell, LeBron might not be back for 2 more weeks, who knows.

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter.

This team is going to hit a really rough patch with or without him.

Would it be nice to have Shump back?

Sure but even with him back, we're probably going to lose a majority of these games coming up.

What does it mean to 'pass a physical' when you're out for *at least* two weeks? Were they just verifying that his arm was still attached to his body?

Checking for other undisclosed medical issues.

The Cavs were presumably aware of his dislocated shoulder when they made the deal. The physical is to verify that it's not worse than the Knicks told them it was and that he doesn't have any other undisclosed medical issues that may give them cause to veto the trade. Clearly the Knicks were up front about Shumpert's condition and the rest of him checked out. Thus, he passed.

If Iman was the centerpiece of the trade for us, and we knew he'd be out for a couple weeks...why even make the trade now?

The sooner you guys accept that whatever happens this year is gravy, the easier this will be.

If you find a deal you like, you pull the trigger before another team trumps your offer or one of the teams involved has second thoughts and pulls out of the deal. Plus, making the deal now means that Griffin can start offering that Thunder pick in trades for a center immediately.

See how bad the shoulder is and if it was properly disclosed, but more important, they were checking the integrity of the knee he blew out a few years ago.
