I was wondering how he was throwing. Pre-TJ he could hit the high 90s but not sure if he was sustaining that. If the velo is there and consistent, that is something to work with. They deserve a shot at another Chris Archer after they gave the first one away :chuckles: (For the record I was a little miffed they dealt him like that after working hard with him for 3 years)

Personally, I blame Dolan for not holding out and acquiring Polanco.

I think having to not only endure Axford's pitching in meaningful games but also having to pay him money to do so is enough of a price tag for the Pirates.

I heard that Axford might be the PTBNL in the Dickerson deal. We could close the book on that deal if that's the case.
