Sully still gets blocked too easily for my taste. He seems to try to bull his way to the hoop like he could in HS, but now there are guys big enough to block his shot. I hope that JS starts to develop some pump fakes into his game...then he can get guys on their feet or draw some contact and live at the line.
I am also surprised that we haven't seen any of his step-back game yet.
We'll get a good feel for him once the Big Ten action starts. He will be matched against guys even bigger and stronger than he is. One thing in his favor and something that can get him far is that he seems to be that quiet kind of leader. He's smart. He's got a good basketball IQ for sure. He sees the floor totally. He makes good passes to open players if he gets the ball and is doubled. He plays real smart for the most part. He HATES to lose. I've also heard he plays the leader role in the locker room as well. That's special from a freshman when the team is stocked with 3 and 4 year vets.
This Ohio State team could actually run the table this year, at least the regular season.
