Attempts up to 3.8/game in the month of February is the most encouraging trend. Not only does he have a nice clip this season, he’s shooting it with more confidence. Game changer if he can hit around 40% at 4-5 attempts per game moving forward. Definition of 3&D when he finally puts up volume.
Also he is one of the best finishers on the team while on a break. When he goes strong to the basket I expect good things to happen

This kid has been the brightest spot during the winning streak and through the bad games since.

I hope to see him remain with the Cavs for a long time, but any notion of letting him walk has to be over.

He’s 3 years younger than an OG Announby type who had considerable trade value.

Very happy for Okoro. I’ve supported him since day 1 because I liked him at Auburn. He’s improved so much year to year and now he’s playing with more confidence. Plays with fire and emotion. And his 3 is improving from spot to spot. Plays great defense when needed. Doesn’t need to shoot many shots but he’s taking them when open with confidence now. He’s not just a player you leave him open anymore.

That is why player development is so important and I never like giving up players so easily.

Clearly a energy, garbage worker of the Cavs. Things are looking bad, he fires up the whole team.

Players come into the league at different stages of development and progress at different rates. One size fits none.

We don’t know where he’ll be in three or five years.
Same with Mobley.

It took GSW and Denver many years to develop. Boston too.

Patience is hard.

okoro plays well against boston. was it tatum that he posterized on a game winning fast break dunk?
