CLEVELAND (Ticker) - Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luke Jackson will miss up to seven weeks with a broken left wrist suffered in Saturday's loss to Philadelphia.
The 6-7 Jackson had his wrist examined by team physician Dr. Richard Parker on Sunday, revealing a fracture that will require surgery and keep him out of action for much of the Cavaliers' stretch run.
The 10th overall pick in 2004, Jackson is averaging 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 35 games this season after playing in just 10 as a rookie due to a variety of injuries.
Jackson joins Larry Hughes (broken finger) and Ira Newble (facial abscess) among the sidelined Cleveland players.

Three swingmen now out with Luke, Ira and Larry all out. This means more Jones at shooting guard, and Sasha will continue to play heavy minutes. Marshall too may swing and play some small forward!
