Chris Mortensen’s report that the Browns wanted an adult at the QB position rings especially true after watching how Brissett has carried himself the last 8 months.
He was a consummate professional. And the locker room loved him.
Will finish his time as starter #7 in QBR.

Kinda crazy this guy is gonna be a top 5 favorite QB probably of all time for this fanbase and he played 11 games and won only 4….

Whose call was it to put Huntley in the pro bowl? I get that they won’t make it watson for backlash reasons but how is Brissett’s resume possibly worse than Huntley?

The Pro Bowl isn't even an actual game anymore. It's a nonsensical skills challenge because the league doesn't know what to do about it.
The Pro Bowl and it's selection process could hardly be less impactful.

I doubt the players feel this way. I’m sure Jacoby would have been honoured to be selected to his first ever pro bowl and I don’t really see why he wouldn’t be over Huntley

Being selected is an honor like getting recognition in any profession... but going to the Pro Bowl and participating in the Pro Bowl seems less desired every passing year.
