There are a bunch of statistical and analytical reasons to move on from JBB.
But less than that, sometimes you just need a fresh voice. As the thread says and I have mentioned before, JBB is one of the longest tenured guys in the NBA. You're talking about like Pop, Spoelstra, Kerr, and Malone being ahead of him.... some of the best to ever do it.
JBB isn't one of those guys. He's not that level of coach.
But sometimes you just need a different guy pushing the buttons or setting the tone. Look no further than the Guardians. Francona was an icon, but he was tired, he wasn't reaching players the same way, and he wasn't loving what he was doing. Bring in a fresh voice with new ideas in Vogt and the team is off and running.
In theory, I think new coaches could do that here.
