John Henson

Henson does a great job protecting the paint from penetration by guards and wings. He blocks shots, alters shots and lowers opposing fg%. I do believe his big weakness is opposing bigs. He gets pushed around and bullied because he's so skinny.

This. He's also given up a lot of offensive boards this year although he's historically a good rebounder.

Guys--Henson is available. The Bucks would trade him if the future assets were right. The issue is that he's still an inconsistent player. Some plays or nights he plays well. Other nights he's lost.

When you can block shots without jumping, simply by raising your arms; you'll contribute.

God that's one thing I do miss about big Z. Zydrunas drove me nuts at times with his slow-plodding nature, but god damnit that guy could PLAY!

Tip ins without even jumping, hammering punk guards who try to challenge him at the rim. Blocking shots, hitting jumpers. Big Z was the man.

Not saying Henson is anywhere near close to that level, but he is very long and has a lot of upside as a disruptive defender.
