You mean checking into rehab for a few months, moving out of downtown, consistently being talked about by teammates for how much his character has improved means nothing? I think his actions show that he is "growing up" or being a "man". All I've heard is "actions speak louder than words. I'll believe it when I see it." when it comes to his character all over this site. Now all of the sudden actions aren't good enough and we want words? Let's not forget the constant rumors being spread on here that he is drinking. Like its some super secret and everyone at Townhall or Shaq's party wouldn't have seen it and talked about it. You all just want something to bitch about and your post shows me that. It's called being a man, grown up & a professional athlete. You are no longer a kid in college where people adore you and you can come to the games hungover/buzzed and just say, "Well, we got the dubya, amirite?!"
You need to take actions for whatever negative thing you have done and own up to it. You see it all the time with athletes with drugs, domestic abuse, offensive language, other crimes...
Fans, players and friends/family are looking up to you and some care for your well-being, just show you can change on & off the field.
You are pretty much a star, you can not hide behind your PR team and scripted letters forever.
Once again, he doesn't owe you or I shit.
