JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You may have not noticed, but the Cavs are depleted. Who would you put in without losing on D?

You know. Joe fucking Harris and Mike Miller. The GOATs. The Saviors.

He'll get the stink eye in the locker room, I hope.

No no no no JR it's alright we coooool........... :furious:

I'll say it again, but this is J.R. Smith. He hit silly shots against Atlanta because he can and he's not hitting them now because that's who he is. If you wanted to keep him around during the good times you had better be willing to stick with them through the bad ones. That's the player he's been his entire career.

So, again, I would not lose sleep if he's not around next season if we're picking and choosing who to keep. Shump is a higher priority and at this point so is Delly.

No its not, hes literally not doing anything like he was in the previous series. Hes afraid to shoot and hes driving the ball at bad times. This isnt just bad shooting nights from him. Hes playing like a pussy.

I've still got love for JR, but when he is playing like this, just give his minutes to anyone else. Get Joe Harris some Finals minutes at home before you're forced to on the road because of injuries.

Before everyone piles on J.R. and throws a tantrum to make themselves feel better I'll say this...

He can absolutely still turn this around and help us win this series. His shooting tonight was unfortunate, but we have to ride or die with him with our current roster/injuries. Here's to the J.R. Smith roller coaster turning for the better in game 5. It's not over yet, fellas.

Feels like we have been saying this the entire series. He is our 2nd best offensive player, and is doing nothing for us on offense. Needs to change that, FAST.

It's not even about turning it around he has been invisible for 4 games I would hope he can with those odds only 3 games left. Championship on the line and we have to debate whether this dude is going to show up in 3 out of 7 games since he's struck out in 4. Doesn't that seem odd that we have to debate about a dude showing up when he's not the main focal point anyway. Only pressure is winning four games that's on him but my point still stands I'm disgusted with him.

I fully expect JR to be the game 7 hero if it gets that far haha.

He should be afraid to shoot. He can't make anything.

And by the way that's the nature of a streak shooter. When it's going in they'll take all sorts of crazy shots. When it's not they get a little gun-shy.

Thats not at all the nature of a streaky shooter. Streaky shooters get cold, but keep shooting. Hes afraid to shoot period! This isnt JR like at all.

I mean, he wasn't that bad in game 3. I was hoping that would be the start of a turnaround, but obviously it wasn't.

It's not ideal that we are relying on J.R. Smith to hopefully score 15-20 and be our second best offensive player against a 67 win team. That was never his intended role here. He's been thrust into it and has done an okay job at times and a terrible job at times.

I'm just saying, as quickly as JR tanked tonight, he can score 25 on Sunday, and then maybe go 3-17 again in game 6. Who knows. Anything is possible, I just know that he's one of the only semi healthy bodies we have left to try and win two of the final 3 games of the NBA season and we have to ride or die with him. We may die, but J.R. has still been a positive for us for the majority of his time on the team this year. I realize we're all emotional but Steph Curry is the MVP and shot 5-23 in an NBA finals game. LeBron scored what, 12 points in a game against Dallas in 2011?

Hopefully he can lay some pipe in Oakland on Sunday. I still have faith. That's all I'm saying

Stage got to him maybe.
He is supposed to be our second best player offensively but he is just not giving us anything.
