JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Windy said it best..

Don't count on him but don't count him out either.

This is the game. I believe the last game JR went off was AT Atlanta. He loves playing on the road.

Pretty good read.

This article answers the question about his comment to the media the other day about other things going on with him.

"There is a lot of guilt. I went to numerous counselors to talk about it," he says. "The anniversary is [June 9], so it's really tough this time of year.

Just read that he has yet to force a turnover in 4 games and that over the course of the series, we have gotten outscored by 48 with him on the floor compared to a +26 when he's not. Turrible

Pretty good read.

That was an awesome article. I'd love to have him back next season and a full offseason with LeBron and the gang. He may not be doing well in this series but he was never expected to have to do what's being expected of him. He has delivered in every other series since Kevin and Kyrie went out.

Considering that this is about the time of year of the accident, I wonder if JR is just in a bad mental place right now.
This is the first time that he's still playing during this time of year.

I hope JR has a big game and makes Cleveland his long term home. I think he may be our Stephen Jackson. As in the Stephen Jackson that played well for the Spurs. Both had some growing up today, both were talented and both seem better suited to play roles on a strong team then have too much asked of them on a weaker team.

I also think that that Lebron the leader will probably help here. Having the best player in the world in your corner and providing support has got to help. This may be the biggest change in Lebron on the return. Previously, he made players better on the court by getting them easy shots or plays but now he not only does that but helps them mentally by providing advice, support etc.
