All things come to an end, this one is overdue. Now if he'd say give back a couple/few million to the Cavs maybe we can unload him easier. But no, JR knows this is the last of him getting overpaid in the NBA and he wants every last cent. I get it. He can thank LBJ when he sees him tomorrow.
 
Well, this is why everyone thought it was crazy to trade for him in the first place. Luckily at that time, the Cavs were a good team and he was able to contribute positively the first 1.5 years or so.

Maybe JR and Melo can reunite on some team in China next year.

Does he think the Cavs anticipated Love's injury or that the Cavs are extending his recovery and has inside knowledge of their attempt to tank? Seems like a crazy heavy accusation for a professional to make when his TEAMMATES are out there giving it their all regardless of rotations and lack of talent. JR has been strategically going after the FO with his comments (questioning the Sexton pick and the general direction of the team) and has been looking for the nearest exit.
 
No chance someone trades for him. He’ll sit for a year and get bought out next year.

I think Houston is the really the only option just because they will want to dump Melo's contract so they don't have to pay the extra luxury tax. I'm not completely sure how they view Brandon Knight, they have a good amount of ball handlers already. JRs contract can help them do another CP3 like deal in the summer. JR kind of fits their scheme and CP3 probably would be able to keep him in line.

Dekker could be the wild card that push the deal to get done. He played well for them before and us taking Marquis Chriss only reduces their luxury tax even more.

Brandon Knight could be a player that we pump back up and trade like Sessions. His contract isn't bad and if he gets back to his previous production, someone will want him in the summer or at the trade deadline next year.

Only 2 champion Cavs left. This reminds me of Eddie Murphy's movie Life when all the old prisoners started fading away with the song playing :apologetic:
