It's funny how stressed OKC fans are about to be next year when ESPN is ramming this storyline down our throats. I'm watching SVP & Russillo radio show and they did a segment about it. It's going to be funny watching the Wizards clear space in 2 years and thinking hmmmm what if....

You guys Durant would go to Washington? I mean I do think he'd fit with Wall and Beal. Beside those 2 player tho I see no reason Durant would leave OKC unless everything goes to shit the next 2 years

I feel absolutely terrible for OKC fans. They're about to go through what all of us did from 2008-2010.

Kinda disappointed in KD too. He's fueling the fire.

For people who don't wanna look up what KD said. He basically said it'd be cool to go home, and he gave the whole "I used to go Bullets games" response. He started off by saying Lebrons move was good for the NBA and cool

But in the same interview he said he's not worried about FA at all and he's only worried about winning now. He probably should've said this and stopped.

Wow and as I'm typing this Sportscenters first story is Durant to Wiz.........yeah ESPN is pushing this thing now

OKC management better think about paying the damn luxury tax to keep or bring in quality players to try to win the Championship! They have been extremely cheap through out the years and they have a sold-out arena every game!

If I were them I would've at least thought about getting in the Love conversation with Westbrook as bait. Durant and Westbrook will never win together

Fuck OKC...

Gilbert would never have let Harden walk.. I have no sympathy for them, and I've said for years, if I was Durant I would bounce. Ownership only cares about the bottom line, so why am I being loyal?

Had they kept Harden they'd have probably won a title by now.

Was just about to say something to this effect, so let me add:

Durant isn't gonna win anything in OKC. That Washington team would be scary good with him on it. The battles between the Cavs and Wiz for the Eastern Conference would make for some awesome basketball and storylines. The rivalry would be renewed for sure.

I think it would be great for the NBA if he went to Washington. This is exactly what OKC gets for being cheap and shipping out a very key component of a championship contender. Have fun paying max money to Ibaka and Westbrook.

Damn.. Now I hope he stays in OKC.. ugh.. I do not want to see Durant on the Wizards for the next 10 years. Fuck that.

I would still take a lineup of Irving-LBJ-Love any day, but that's probably an ECF that goes the full seven games.

OKC is going to have to get to the Finals and look competitive for Durant to stay. Durant and Westbrook's ball-demanding skill sets, coupled with Brook's ineptitude on offense, has yielded a pretty ugly offensive team. Brooks should be the one to blame if Durant leaves. He has arguably two of the best players in the league and they have yet to sniff a title.

All the pieces are there for them. They have TWO all-stars, the ever-so-coveted rim protector, deep bench, HAD veteran leadership in D-Fish and they have still looked overmatched in both WCF and The Finals against the Heat.

I think KD fits much better on the Washington team. He wouldn't have to worry about butting heads with Westbrook. He would be the man but still have incredibly talented players surrounding him. Wall doesn't demand the ball as much as Westbrook, Beal would keep defenses honest, making it impossible to double either Wall or Durant. Will be very interesting to see what happens...

I expect Durant to leave. OKC is a cheapass organization and they won't be coming out of the West this year or next.

You guys better fucking hope Durant stays out of Washington.

That would not be good for us. At all.

Why would Durant go to Washington when he could come here?

We send OKC either Love or Irving (whoever we value less at the time) and they sign-and-trade us Kevin Durant. Everyone wins. Well, except the person we send to OKC, but fuck that guy, right? :chuckles:
