I still hate how they go away from Love after his quick starts, keep feeding the hot hand. He gets 10 plus in the first quarter, and then doesn't get much touches in the 2nd. I just wish they would get him slightly more touches. He doesn't need a lot more, just a little more touches (take some away from Andy :chuckle:).

I'm looking forward to when Love gets his first triple double as a Cav.

Love should be getting all the touches Andy has been. Kyrie should be getting all the touches Marion has been.

Great effort by Love - especially on defense. Was great to see his activity as a help defender. Teams keep going at him in the P&R game - literally every team comes in drawing his man out to set the pick.

Seems like he got a little fed up with that at least tonight. If he brings that effort we'll be fine defensively in the long run.

I'm greedy: he missed a lot of makeable 3's for him tonight. Also I don't care about Bosh and the Heat, on this team the offense stagnates and I don't see any reason why we can't post up the dude after the first quarter when that happens.

Anyone else seeing improvement in the defense. He's getting his hand's up at least now when people in the effort. I think he can develop into a solid post defender if he actually focuses on it as well. Didn't guard Jefferson much tonight but I was surprised that he seemed to play him better then Tristan and AV did probably just because he's stronger then those two.

It amazes me that Love not only puts up these stat lines, but also that he does it so effortlessly.

He's averaging 17.8 & 10.5 on the year and he's making look so damn easy. The game is just so fluid for him out there.

Can't wait to see this team firing on all cylinders in March. The Love/Lebron pairing is like a match made in heaven. Now if only we would run that Love/LBJ PnR more often, I would be a happy camper.

I couldn't agree more. My biggest complaint has been that he gets forgotten about for entire quarters at a time. There's absolutely no reason the offense can't run through him. He has great footwork, is a very capable & willing passer, has that little hook that's successful, and even has a good face-up game and can drive by defenders for the bigger guys guarding him.

It would solve all kinds of problems, from him being forgotten about to the offense running stagnant to keeping some pressure off of the offense rolling through LeBron & Kyrie..

The other thing is that the spacing is still not as good as it could be, and that still has to do with guys going to the same spots at the same time. It also has to do with Love only having to be accounts for for one quarter.

Definitely more interested in starting Tristan than I was before, not for spacing to get Love more involved.

I don't understand why Love isn't getting 4-5 shots per quarter at a minimum. He should be our leading scorer, Kyrie #2, with LBJ being the guy totaling 15 assists a night.

It seems so simple in theory. Can I please explain this to Blatt and the team? lol

I almost fainted when I saw k love jump to actually contest a shot tonight. He needs to stop being a pussy and do this on the regular.
