And as far as his 3P stroke, he's now shooting a torrid 48% from 3 for the month of February.

Not to be a debbie downer Richard but February is the shortest month of the year and there was a week off for the allstar break...But yes Love has played well these last 3 games. To read more fervent praise please read the posts above.

Well, you ARE being a Debbie Downer, ClevelandRox, but I have to let it go, because, you know, you have the Emma Watson thing going...

Wait....since when did February become such a short month?

Has that always been a thing?

I might have to completely re-assess my opinion on how Love's been playing!

That'd be very prudent Richard. There is a thing called a leap year that occurs every 4 years and then February would have 29 days which is one less than the 30 days that September, April, June, and November have. All of the other months have 31 days including March. So if he has a great month next month, then even I will drink a gallon of the Love Kool-aid.

If KLove keeps up his percentages and defensive effort @clevelandrox23 will end up stuck being a Jester in the Court of King Love.

Always secretly plotting with Wiggins Loyalists to overthrow and banish Kevin.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

And keep Emma Watson in your bed.

This concludes my attempt at humor for the night.

Love played well.

Draymond really was given a lot of reign to be overly physical, which I didn't think was fair, but whatever. When Love did catch it on him he scored easily, but they let Green grab and push Kevin off his spots all night.

But Love still hit big shots, facilitated the offense well from a front-court spot, and even gave us a nice little scoring burst to extend the lead when we needed it.

If anything against teams that play these hybrid 3/4's you should aggressively post them up and force the refs to make a call. These smaller guys are always going to be at risk for foul trouble and against the Cavs defense if you lose your stretch 4 your offense is toast.

Another day passed, another game played, and it still sits empty, waiting for the triumphant return...

Oh Birdy is out there lurking for sure, probably spending long nights alone researching advanced data and stats on BasketballReference.com hoping to find a 5 game stretch of Love's career that compares Love to Ferry or Larry Krystkowiak. He'll be back here chirping the first game we lose against a contender in which Love does not shoot 50% from the field or 40% from three.

Our offense looks so smooth when you give Kevin the ball. There was a spurt when Kyrie came back into the game after getting his shoulder looked at.

Kyrie brought the ball up the court. Gave it to J.R. Kevin, seeing J.R. looking for him, got in position around the elbow and receives the pass. Kevin drives and scores like a power forward.

Kyrie brings the ball up the court on the next possession. Gave it to J.R. Kevin, seeing J.R. looking for him again, got in position around the shoulder and receives the pass. Kevin Facilitates and gets Tristan a layup.

Kyrie brings the ball up the court on the next two possessions. Goes away from what's working and doesn't post Kevin up like J.R. did. Result = a bad shot, a hard foul on Kyrie, and Iguodala hits a three on the following play.

Thought Kevin was really good. Green kind of got the better off him some times during the first half but otherwise he pretty much handled him best. He wasn't used that often and its understandable because LeBron was in mood, but when he was, he was very effecient. My favourite play of the game was that brilliant defense on Curry when Steph was trying to create the space and shoot the three.

It will be interesting to watch Love perform in the next few games. If Kyrie is out, I am actuallt very curious to see the duo of LeBron and Love perform without Kyrie. Pre-Dion games don't count. This is the perfect and balanced set-up the Cavs have had. Anyway, coming back to Love, he will now be the second option on the team and may be this would help LeBron and Love build some great understanding between them. Can turn out to be a blessing in disguise this Kyrie injury, provided its not serious and it allows Love to get implemented into the attack further more and get in sync with LeBron. It happened the same with LeBron and Bosh at Miami as well when Wade was out injured. Since then, LeBron and Bosh grew a very good understanding between them.

48% from three over nine games is still a pretty nice sample size, especially given that Love has always been a good shooter. Personally, I think he's just finally learning how to find his three point shot without working in the post first. It's been an adjustment for him.
