There's no way he would stay in Cleveland, what other max player doesn't close games? It's not even like SAS had some formidable front line. Barkley kept saying Love was being guarded by Diaw and Bonner all game long and wasn't getting touches. That's straight disrespect tbh
hell yes i agree. it's like they are purposely insulting him to push him away this off season or something..Kevin is not the best defender in the world but he does play hard. usually he tend to ease up on defense when they refuse to feed him in the post..it's like a war going on between Blatt and Kevin..

If we lose Kevin this off-season, the blame is on Blatt..Come on dude..Feed the man and he will play hard for you. Not a good idea to insult him like that. This is not Euroleague anymore. You win with players..

Love when he is in the flow - not just shot attempts, but touching the ball to pass/create for others - to me is much more engaged defensively and on the glass.
And it makes teams account for him in other spots on the floor than the 3pt line.

Just get him some touches early and he is usually locked in. Not even shot attempts, just get him touches in his sweet spots so he feels involved. It's really not that hard.

What a bunch of fucking losers you guys are. Cleveland fan at its finest. Shut up.

If we keep this up, he's good as gone and we're going to be screwed. We'd have no cap space to find a replacement. Blatts playing a dangerous game here.

Yeah this is my problem with Blatt's coaching.Whether he knows it or not he is disrespecting Kevin a ton. by not running plays for him in the post and not putting him in the game in the 4th quarter of close games.

If his back is still acting up he needs to rest, we'll get the 2nd seed even if he takes a week or two off.

This angelfan guy is just disagreeing with people but not bringing any input to this thread..

I'm going to be positive because being negative after a game like this is just stupid.

Kevin Love's defense in overtime was strong. He wasn't allowing Duncan anything easy and be contested the paint decently.

Losers? How so? It's the truth. We alienate him and we're stuffed. We'd be in cap hell and can't sign anyone to replace him.

I don't think there is any danger in losing Love - especially next year. We would be stupid to think we'd be better without him.

However, there really is no reason to keep your star player on the bench the entire 4th quarter AND THEN bring him in cold for 2 minutes in the middle of OT (obviously to save face) and then take him out again.

My feeling is Blatt won't have a good explanation - but if I were Love, I might be in his office tomorrow morning.

If he's hurt you don't play him. I remember McMenamin saying he was in the tunnel when he got subbed back in. He had to be hurt.

This makes some sense after the fact... not than many of you want to hear it.

Cavs got 57 from Kyrie and 31 from LeBron. Only 8 from Kevin Love, whose back started acting up. But when those 3 play, Cavs aren't losing.

How convenient that his back is acting up. I don't buy it. You can see he was displeased.

Man Love struggles with injuries - he is just beat up it seems 24/7. Gotta give him credit for playing through it but we should probably consider giving him some rest prior to the playoffs.
