I see a completely different Kevin Love this postseason. Completely different. He's down low banging, definitely more in the paint, playing way better defense, moving around the court effortlessly, and....his shot selection is more fine-tuned.

I wasn't impressed all year with him, but in these three games - he's on another level and I love it.

Love Stephen A. saying this shows how Love has clearly been misused on the bench in the 4th all season... Yeah, we have the best record since Jan, are 3-0 in the playoffs. Maybe Blatt knows more about basketball than you Stephen A?

The thing is, we didn't use Love all that differently last night than we have the rest of the season. He got the ball in the post a few times, but primarily was used as a floor spacer from three. He was just nailing all his shots.

I still think we need some plays to run every game that utilize Love at the elbow.

am surprised we haven't gone to this as much especially considered the advantage our frontline has over Boston's. Letting him work from the elbow or post up is a great alternative to just ISO when ball movement breaks down.

Hopefully Lebron will trust him more and look to him more in crunch time so we aren't stuck in damn ISO all the time.

I think anyone that's been highly critical or doubting him, should man up, or (woman up if you're a female).

The two people that have been highly criticize this year, and have REALLY stepped up thus far: Blatt and Kevin Love.

Kevin Love: Cavs' Organization Has My Back

Kevin Love has been playing better basketball for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs and had 23 points and nine rebounds while shooting 6-for-10 on three-pointers in their Game 3 win over the Boston Celtics.

"He's been highly criticized this year, and for what, I don't know why," James said, before pausing, and smiling. "I know why. I know why. I know."

Love was traded to the Cavaliers in the offseason and he can become a free agent in the offseason.

"For a team that finally gets together and they have a big three, they have to find someone," James said. "When I was in Miami, Chris Bosh was that guy at one point...Kevin was the guy they tried to find and tear him down. One thing about him, he's always stayed positive. I've always believed in him."

"People have focused my whole career on what I couldn't do rather than what I could," Love said. "I know my teammates and coaching staff have my back. The organization has my back. I'm sending love right back to them. I think tonight was one of those times my numbers was called to step up and hit a big shot."

Probably my favorite Kevin Love game of the season.

The threes are always great, but stepping up and taking a couple charges from Crowder and Turner were huge momentum changers. I'm happy to eat my words after riding Love earlier this season for lackluster defensive play, he's finding ways to make an impact in both sides of the court.

there's been a couple times this series when Boston has had a fast break and Love hustled back to stop an easy layup. Last night he did it in the first half and in the second half he made a clean block on a Turner drive, too bad the refs missed it. I've been very impressed with his hustle on D

This team--and its players--continues to grow before our very eyes. That's why I thought it important to get Boston--not Indiana--in the first series.

Your best players step up in the playoffs. We are seeing what Kevin can do, and I don't just mean yesterday, as some in the media claim. He's been important in all three games. The nice thing is, we obviously have not seen Kevin's ceiling.

Eat your heart's out, national media and coastal cities: Kevin was skipping yesterday! He ain't going anywhere. How'd do you like them apples?

Maybe this is the Kevin Love we get without back issues. He doesn't seem to be having any difficulties with his back at all right now. Even after a couple days off, he seemed to still have trouble after a quarter or so. But not anymore. Weird.

I think its more along the lines of him conserving himself as much as possible knowing that back is likely gonna cut his career early someday. But doing it this way helps ensure we get a Kevin Love like the last 3 games who's ready to physically compete in the playoffs. And for me personally, I think its a great move.

Not unlike how LBJ obviously conserves himself in the first half of the regular season, knowing that doing so will allow him to play additional years in the playoffs at the top of his game, in addition to giving teammates more time to step up as well.

They had several days off for rest right before this series started. Hopefully they can finish off the Celtics Sunday and get a couple days of rest for James and Love.

But Honestly I think it has more to do with comfort Level. Playing in the playoffs has been huge for this team. You can see them growing together. Love and Kyrie are more engaged than I have seen all year. Love is getting into the games and Irving seems to be a little more serious.

Kevin showed what a difference making shots does

This is a game of makes and misses

When you miss wide open shots = lazy unmotivated

When you make wide open shots = heart of a champ
