It was intentional, and worse yet, it came in a game that had zero meaning to the Celtics. They were down 3-0 and had no hope to win this series, but instead of bowing out with class they decided to try and ruin the season of the team that was eliminating them.
Nailed it

Let's not let Stevens off the hook here.

He clearly condoned the hard fouls, otherwise Boston wouldn't have been doing it game after game.

Yes, the physical play escalates in the post season but time after time Cavs players were smacked in ways that
had nothing to do with going after the basketball.

No respect from me for Stevens. BS are the correct initials for him.

Cavs are fucked. They'll lose to the Bulls in 6 if Love is out for that whole series.

Today you saw what happens to this team when Love is out for a near full game and JR isn't there to provide threes and it's ugly as fuck.

I can't even blame Kyrie and LeBron for wanting to iso away when Delly and Jones are that fucking useless. Then for bigs you have to rely on Tristan and/or Perk.

I agree. It's one thing with the starting 5, plus Shump, TT, thenMarion/Perk picking up spotty minutes. Without love, let alone and JR- no way we are beating Chicago. Our bench is way too poor for us to win without 1 or 2 starters. We just do not have enough firepower for that.

No. He clearly asked if we ever see Love in a Cavs uni again.

He's been harping this all year. Jalen Rose is putting himself out there near Chris Sheridan levels with this Love prediction.

Only difference, Simmons won't fire Jalen, so Rose is going off spouting off saying whatever.

I used to like Jalen, I've just had enough of a dose of him for a while. He cannot even expound on why he's so fucking sure that Love is going to leave.

No accountability. If it doesn't come true and Jalen is wrong, swept under the carpet.

He's really putting himself out there, we need to crucify him on Twitter when he's ultimately wrong on this prediction he's been harping on.

Bulls are by far the most overrated team in the league every year. LeBron will never lose a series to team led by a player as dumb as Derrick Rose.

You seem to forget the team that Lebron won playoff games in Cleveland the first time he was here.
Got to the finals with a starting lineup of MO, Sasha, Larry and Z. If he can do it with that group he can do it without Love and Jr (for a game or so)

@RotowireATC: Looking through NBA injury data & found 2 cases of players suffering injuries termed shoulder dislocations that didn’t result in games lost.

@RotowireATC: Those 2 players are Glen Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. Both injuries occurred last season.

Cousins is different he has had that since high school he's just able to pop it back in and play. I believe the game he suffered his in he came back in and played

The Bulls are lucky to not be tied up at 2 games a piece against a Bucks team I'm willing to say isn't better than a Love-less Cavs team, all while yet playing a road game in that series (no, half of the arena in Milwaukee being filled with their fans doesn't count). And people in here are saying the Cavs are done if Love is out for the series? Please.

Kevin Love will play in game 1...hell I bet his back spasms affected him more than his shoulder injury will.. I have had two torn labrums in my life...one in the anterior and one posterior and yes it is painful but it really isnt anything that prohibits u...I still had full range of motion before the surgery its just that your shoulder makes a "clicking" noise for weird movements and you will feel your shoulder "catching" itself alot...He came here to win a title and not be labeled as "Stat stuffer" loser. If he plays with this injury he will command a ton of respect from teammates, fans, and the media. Also, it will be just an emotional and psychological lift for the organization. Could you imagine how loud the Q will be if he starts on Sunday during the starting lineups. One thing about Cleveland fans is we are resilient and tough as hell and Love has a chance to prove just how tough and how much he wants to win.

What exactly is leading to this Chicago dick riding contest in the media? I truly believe it's rooted in disdain for this Cavs team.

They are playing really. Poor. Basketball.

Noah has never looked worse and outside of Butler and maybe Pau, they have ZERO consistency.

If anything, this makes it a closer series but to say we can't beat them without Love? With the best player on the planet and Irving?

Choke on your own shit, Jalen. Uneducated dickhead.

Not forgetting. I just feel like this situation is different. Trust me, I hope I'm wrong. Hope we can do it, I just don't feel confident because of our bench.

Some guy asked him about it. It's also that dudes job to report on injuries
@RotowireATC: @jerrybskinny @HPbasketball That would mean he has a subluxing shoulder and not a true dislocation.

Any reason why we cant try Marion at the 4 off the bench?

I was thinking it would be better to start Marion, and keep our solid bench rotation the same. This would also help spread the floor for our starting unit, and let LBJ play in the post on offense.
