It's stunningly ridiculous to see ex players like Barkley say it wasn't intentional. It's pathetic.

It was completely away from the play and the guy obviously knew what he was doing. He carried it on when the ball was far and away. It was as intentional as what Jr did. But JR didn't dislocate anyone's shoulder.

Olynk should be fined had face a heavy punishment, if this league has a bit of fairness. He was completely dirty and ill intended. 99% of time these guys know exactly what they are doing and this one of these situations. But it ended in a serious injury that could compromise a whole season for a team. It's a pretty fucking serious issue.
Because then Barkley and everyone else would basically be admitting the same stunts they pulled in their playing days were also intentional. It was intentional just like when Love stomped on Scola's face. Deal with it an move on.

He's such a wordsmith...
The early diagnosis was a dislocation, Kevin Love's shoulder no longer fitting in its socket, but awkwardly fitting out. Consider it symbolic of his season. After all, disconnection has been the storyline of his first campaign as a Cavalier: perceived disconnection from teammates, uncomfortable disconnection from his former role, ongoing disconnection between what the public expects from him and what the Cavaliers do.

Doesn't matter if it's intentional or not. You need to be careful with how you approach physical contact. Olynik was reckless. Needs to be HEAVILY fined.

Ridiculous...

What gives everything away with the Olynyk play is the flexion in his right arm. From tricep all the way to forearm, he is clearly holding on for dear life. He needs a significant fine for that shit.

Did he know he was going to separate his shoulder? Probably not..

However, you don't grab an arm with both hands, then pull the opposite way from which the guy is running, and expect not to hurt the guy.

I mean, in the heat of the game/moment or not, it's pretty much common sense that you're going to injure someone.

Cavs will beat the Bulls in 6. Kevin Love to return by game 2. JR Smith will return by game 2 or 3. We got this guys.

Read the section on traumatic dislocation (which looks like what Love is suffering from).

If this is the case, Love will most likely be out at least a month and might even have to undergo surgery.

All I can think right now is FUCK Kelly Olynyk and his stupid hair.

Edit: Wtf is with all the disagrees. Didn't realize we had so many doctors in here. Just trying to take a stab at what it is.

Its called the egg shell skull doctrine in legal terms. You take a defendant as you see them.

He made a play on Love's arm; he's now liable for those actions.

He should face a lengthy suspension and hefty fine.
