Wow. Cheers ladies, and fellas.

No more lottery tonight.

Thank you Los Angeles Clippers.

And thank you Dan Gilbert.

You paid Baron Davis 30million dollar contract which also came with an unprotected lottery pick. Which shortly thereafter turned into Kyrie Irving on a 2.8% chance.

Cheers to the 2.8% chance that sewed the seed for LeBron's return, back in 2011 when we cheered for him to lose, and lose he did.

Win we did.

Kev, what's it like being face-timed by your teammates on a plane heading to the Eastern Conference Finals?

How does that feel Kevin Love?

We've come a longggggg fucking way!

If we bring back all core players and include both Andy and Kevin who are both healthy, can we believe how damn scary the Cavs are going to be next year? Oh my. And you know Gilbert and Griffin are going to pull someone else off between now and then with Haywood's contract and other stuff. Oh my.

That's what I've been thinking. With a healthy Andy, our 1st round pick, and Haywood's contract, there's no reason why we can't have a roster as deep as GS next season. And of our core players, only LeBron would be on the back part of his prime.

It'll be interesting to see the Lakers bad for years. They can learn a little humility and see what reality is for other markets. The Cavs have been, er, rebuilding for probably 2/3 of their existence. For 40+ years the Lakers have been a strong playoff team or contended by luring MVP-level talents to Showtime, but I don't see any of that on the horizon for them. Unlike the Dodgers and Yankees they can't buy themselves into contention in a non-capped league almost every year, either.
I doubt they stay bad for long, LA is primo for free agents, getting Kobe and Randle back healthy plus the number 2 pick they can challenge for a playoff spot...they are also looking great cap wise for the free agent frenzy of2016

Kobe is done. I wouldn't expect much out of him going forward.

You are making the mistake of forgetting that it is the Son that is in charge now. Management is a mess. It isn't quite the same there for free agents. Plus, Kobe is a negative, not a positive. It is not going to be instantly fixed.

I wonder if he will be glued to TV to see his future Lakers win a rigged lottery.

Thats some weak stuff there and Kobe was so over rated its not even funny. The dude has career 45% fg and a weak 33% from behind the arc and now that his best days are behind him why would Kevin Love want to play with him?

I'm partially trolling dude. But at the same time, if Love is not the player rcf think he is, "I'll grab a broom and sweep the floors if it gets me an NBA title."...I could see him wanting to be closer to home, get more attention, more shots, more endorsements, and possibly pairing up with other players that compliment him as a player not the other way around. Kobe's corpse is irrelevant, it will be buried soon.

See @Randolphkeys signature ;)

But maybe if we can give him 8-10 minutes off the bench tops, with some games off for the rest of his career, he can contribute at his usual level (or close to). His injuries probably won't become less frequent with age.

I see. Love without a doubt makes this team more dangerous. He can have a poor shooting night and still be extremely effective. A river flows to the least resistance and love opens up canals for LeBron and Kyrie. One could not ask for a better floor spacer. He is one of the games best rebounders and oh yeah he's not a bad post player either. I guess only time will tell whether he wants to go back to being a stat muncher or continue to be a great team player. Either way I don't see him going anywhere next season.

I think because of the injury, Love will opt-in for next season.

And if nothing else, I also think he is a smart man, and sees the capability of what we can form for next season. Shump and TT are RFA's, so they are almost assuredly back in the fold. Andy will come back as an energy big off the bench. JR has never had a better time in his career playing, and with his buddy Shump still here, I think he also comes back. And thats not even mentioning our 1st round draft pick and whatever we can pick up for that Haywood contract

We can give him the most money, and offer him the best chance to win for a long time. I don't see how anyone passes that up.

We don't need to worry about Love, we need to focus on this crazy postseason run we are a part of. Its special.

Has Kevin Love even showed up to some of the games post injury? I know he went to a few at home, but is he traveling with the team?
