Kevin Love said he'd sweep the floors if it would help win a championship. He's also said he's playing in Cleveland as long as LeBron is here, that he's opting in next year, and when asked about going home some day like LeBron did, he said it would be nice to go home at the end of his career, and the home he referred to was Portland, not LA.

He doesn't strike me as a guy who's going to leave an potential dynasty to get a couple more touches a game.

BREAKING: Man resembling Kevin Love seen sweeping floors at the Staples Center. Rumors confirmed?

If you're talking about winning a title with the Lakers anytime soon, put the broom down and grab a shovel.

Funny. I hear nothing here in his hometown. Maybe I'll drive down about 10 miles to Lake Oswego where his dad still lives and ask him. Getting sick of this shit. I'll wear a Blazers shirt like a spy and ask if he is coming home. Maybe Stan will give something away.

Wouldn't that be great? I'd probably get arrested.

As a non Cavs fan my take is Love might leave but I can't disagree more with the media about the where and why

The Lakers can't be much of a threat if at all. Love won't go from a terrible team/management in Minnesota, to another equally bad one in Los Angeles. Does he want to spend 9 of the first 10 seasons of his career missing the playoffs and getting called a loser? He also gets most likely the worst part of his Cleveland experience with the media fishbowl and pressure. It's a horrible situation. IIRC Love even said during his last year in Minnesota why is everyone talking about the Lakers when they have a worse team than us. Also his welcome present is playing a year with a Kobe Bryant who doesn't realized he's washed. Great. Ask Dwight how fun playing with Kobe is. If Love was that desperate to be a star in a big market at least he could pick the Knicks and make the playoffs a lot easier in the East.

Why Love would leave the Cavs in my opinion is probably personal unhappiness. Maybe the media fishbowl of playing on Lebron's teams with "Succeed or you're a complete failure" expectations is too much for him. Maybe relationship wise it just didn't work with LeBron and Kyrie and the Cavs made him feel ostracized for not hanging out with them as much. This is where the danger for the Cavs lies in my opinion. That Love is secretly someone who not only doesn't want to play in L.A. or New York, but that his actual preferred place to live personally is what he had in Minnesota, but with winning.

If so the type of situation to worry about is the San Antonio Spurs and the capspace they are setting up for one of Love, Aldridge or Gasol. Getting enough cap room is not as hard as it looks. Not only is Splitter tradable but Diaw is tradable. Diaw only has 7 mil next year and then 3 mil guaranteed the year after. How much did Sam Hinkie take on in Javale's contract just to get a 1st? Think he won't take Boris Diaw+1st? Or Kyle Anderson thrown in too?

With the Spurs Kevin Love gets to win, he gets used in a way more like Minnesota than Cleveland, and perhaps, he gets to do it in a place that provides him peace from social and media pressures. That's the combination that would worry me if I was CLE.

RealGM picked it up and only published half of what was said on the Zach Lowe podcast.

Windy basically just said the same things he's said on his own show for months. Everybody and their brother says Love is leaving. And yet Love repeatedly and emphatically keep saying both publicly AND privately (off the record) that he intends to be in Cleveland long term.

Huge shocker that RealGM left out the second part of that story. :jerkoff:

Looking for an apartment in a more -- happening -- part of town... My neighborhood is a bit too chill. Thought of moving to DTLA, but not sure.
You live in Pasadena? Thought you were overseas?

Been to Pasadena for work a lot recently. I actually like it, but it's definitely quiet like you said. There's a bar that I love there called King's Row. It's a little hipsterish, but the food is on point with some pretty decent cocktails. That spot and hiking is pretty much all I found to do in my free time there. Other than that gotta head into the city it seems.

Even if the Cavs win a championship this year it would be a tragedy if Love leaves. Wiggins is going to be a top 5 player in the world in 5 years. Love didn't contribute to the ring and you traded away potentially 15 years of great basketball and championship contention.

Didn't you hear? Wiggins is also going to LA.

This is LA's line-up next year:

Rondo
Kobe
Wiggins
Love
Jordan

Off the bench:
Aldridge
Okafor
Towns
Cousins
Dragic

Good lord.

Girl I've been seeing lives in Little Tokyo. Personally, I like that part of town(Little Tokyo, DTLA, Warehouse District) far better than Hollywood or the Westside/Beach Cities.

How is that possible when everyone knows he already on the beach in Santa Monica while his realtor is making offers on condos near the Staples.

Withers must have seen Cavs assistant Brett Bielmaier on the stationary bike and mistaken him for Love.
