How? I know we have him under control for awhile, but I cannot see him making league minimum next year. The man will be paid.

He isn't arbitration eligible until next off-season. His rookie deal is what it is, they can buy out his arbitration years though. I'd imagine they'll be trying to work something out where they can delay his free agency by a year or so as well.
