Yes, the Spurs do have multiple scorers nightly, what they don't have are players like Jamal Crawford, and that is by design.. You rarely ever here about the Spurs associating with those types of players, and there's a reason for that...There's been examples of it in the past, like when the Lakers took a flyer on Iasiah Rider or when the Bulls took a chance with Ron Mercer etc...

The closest thing I have heard regarding the Spurs taking on a player like that is a couple years ago when they had some interest in JR Smith, but ultimately was not to enamored with him to make a substantial offer...

The Spurs two other all stars are guys that they chose later in the draft... Parker was the last pick in round 1 of the 01 draft, and Ginobili was the last pick in the entire 1999 draft, and they didn't even bring him over for 3 years..

The Knicks would love to move Crawford and/or Randolph, and there's a reason why teams (especially the contenders) aren't beating down their door to get these guys...

They have poor basketball IQ's and don't play winning team basketball...

well finley and barry are kinda like a crawford. they are alot smarter, older and better shooters. But there main game is shootiing 3's. so from that part there kinda alike.

Plus when did crawford come back into this?? I don't care for him that much.

Just cause they get designated as a shooter, it doesn't mean they're similar in any regard...

Does Crawford's game resemble Kapono's in any way ??

The problem with Crawford and players like him is he's ball dominant, and his game is not suited for anything else.. Guys like Barry and Finley are not.. Barry can handle the ball and initiate offense can come off screens and shoot... Finley can come off screens and shoot, and is a nice midrange shooter as well..

I'm not a huge Crawford fan, but if there was one of those Knicks that I would take, I guess he would be the lesser of the two evils... I just think the concern here is that he doesn't fit...

Im starting to like the idea of keeping what we have, and just trading at the deadline. Then if bucks are sucking we can trade for redd then.

It's one thing to fire up open 3's within the offense, it's another thing to hog the ball and force up 3's because you think you might catch fire if you fire up enough.

Once Crawford starts averaging 30-7-7 and consistently leads his team to playoff contention, I'll be okay with him firing up jumpers.

both. Lebron does that all the time, and its not his fault. He is only 23, and plays need to be made for him. Although i do expect a much improved 3pt shot next season. Just like he imporved his def.

A lot of the problem is LeBron not having faith in Mike Brown or his teammates. In games where LBJ trusts his teammates the offense actually flows fairly well. We've all seen flashes of this. The problem is too often LeBron breaks up plays. No I don't think MB is a great coach, I love what he brings on the defensive end and that is about it.

Crawford would be an upgrade at the 2 no doubt. My problem with him is wasting our best piece of trade bait to get him. I will give the Knicks Wally for Crawford, but only if they throw in Lee too.

Considering lebron is a pass first superstar, I think he has alot of trust in his main guys. boobie, west, Z, smith and what not. But its to the point where i'll have my 7 year old brother and his friends draw up some plays, and there be alot better then mike browns.
