Kyries could not have his head in more of a perfect place. He's leading the team, distributing, playing hero ball when necessary and doing it well, and hes genuinely interested on defense.

LBJ rubbed off on him the right way. The two are cut out of the same cloth right now.

The team is starting to find its identity and the players are finally accepting their new roles. This was all part of the "process". Kyrie is giving good effort on the defensive end and not looking to step on LeBron's and Love's toes on the offensive end and making sure they eat first and get enough food, and the Cavs have played better since then.

I was hard on Kyrie last year, and hard on him very early this season. But he does seem to have figured this out. He's playing hard on D, playing distributor when he should and taking over when he should. It's really cool to watch the maturation.

I'm very pleased with kyrie irving so far. He is giving much better effort on defense, although he still has issues navigating screens. He is playing very efficient basketball and doing a much better job of balancing his scoring with running the offense. LeBron James has clearly been an amazing influence on him as we expected.

Kyrie is a talented player and has high potential to be an all-time great, but my only issue is with his defenders who think the Cavs are better off with him taking the most shots and leading the team in PPG. I know it's obvious that some fans are still bitter about LeBron even after he came back and probably want him to stay out of Kyrie's way, but i really hope they finally see the bigger picture and see that the team will perform better when LeBron is the head of the snake on every ends, scoring, defense, and assists. If they still can't see it, then it's safe to say some people are just happy to see their team lose as long they see their favorite player/s put on a show.

My point is, before the season started, there were some fans who took it a bit personal and thought that Kyrie should be the first option on the team, but I just hope they finally wise up and see the bigger picture now.

Such a straw man. Nobody with any sense ever claimed they wanted Irving to lead the team in statistical categories. We get it, you like Dwyane Wade more.

I do like Wade more. Where did i tried to claim that it was bad for the fan base the way he has played lately? He's playing at exactly the way that i wanted him to. He's playing with good effort on the defensive end, he's not pounding the ball as much with LeBron looking more and more like the primary facilitator, and he's staying out of LeBron's and Love's ways and let them get involved more on the offensive end, while he starts to pick his spots and take high quality shots now. He's playing his role the right way right now and the team is playing better as of late. The point that i made wasn't aiming at Kyrie, it was aiming at those particular fans who thought he'd be the focal point of the offense and thought the team would perform better that way before the season started.

That's definitely part of it. But the Team USA experience for him was huge, IMO.

When they formed I actually envisioned Love would lead the team in PPG because I thought LBJ wouldnt make the mistake of allowing his team to force a great big water his game Down for him.

But I did say that before I remembered how good LeBron was and how easy he scores. Kyrie scores easy from anywhere but Lebron scores even easier.


The best way to play is to definitely tell LEBRON to go all out and let the others learn how to work off of him and eventually ease his load. And the last 2 games THATS exactly what Iv seen
